Josh is currently in the hospital - handcuffed



This is the only info so far posted from a random redditor saying he bit a female cop.

No she did not take any videos, she didn’t even know who he was until I connected the dots when she told me. My older sister was at another store close to where josh was she said she didn’t see the beginning of the incident but josh was walking out of the store away from two teenage kids videoing him saying stuff but she couldn’t hear what they said. Josh started yelling and screaming doing the usual and ended up lightly hitting one of the dudes and running and starting hitting his head on a big pole. Someone else that was there eventually called security and they tried kicking him out but he was being violent so they just kept him there and the real police came and talked with him for a while and when they tried to cuff him he bit a girl police officer and they pinned him down and cuffed him while he was yelling. She also said he was visibly extremely drunk and looked like he didn’t know where he was. The two kids left before all this went down but there’s a video out there somewhere of at least the beginning of what happened. From what she said it seemed pretty serious and the cops weren’t taking him biting the girl lightly.

Edit2: Mr. Based and Art Garfunkel (yes, that Garfunkel) are on the way to see Josh.

Edit3: Looks like Josh is already released, according to a phone call Based just had.

Edit4: Josh just called Based asking for a hotel for the night. Josh wanted to go back to the mall where he was arrested "to go window shopping" and then back to Based's house; Based convinced him to just go straight to his house.

Edit5: Josh is back at the mall where he was initially arrested/detained/who-knows



Edit6: He lives. He's very fucked up. He just blew a .12 on the breathalyzer.

He went to a mall in Hackensack; he apparently crashed out at the mall, bad enough for police to cuff him and move him to the hospital. Generally, New Jersey gives a shit more than NYC, but it is a pretty low bar. I'm honestly very surprised he somehow got out in a few hours.

People need to realize that weirdos like him almost never get in trouble unless they become a legit danger to those around them. Until he causes grievous bodily harm to someone, they’ll just let him go every time. And despite what people think, attacking a cop rarely results in any serious charges. That’s why so many police departments struggle to find enough cops despite the salaries being pretty good and the job security as good as it can get in 2025.

No one wants to waste resources on someone who will get released with a slap on the wrist by the judge.

There’s armies of homeless people with a bible of a rap sheet who somehow are allowed to roam the streets freely. People who are allowed to steal with few consequences, harass people, spit on them, beat their meat in broad daylight in the middle of a busy street.

Eventually some dude snaps and hurts them in self-defense, and that’s when we learn that the dude had been arrested thirty times but never did any time, and the Good Samaritan ends up with serious charges.

The system has long given up on people like Josh. They expect you to just live with it.

Someone at his age who is constantly shitting and pissing himself, publicly vomiting and having psychotic meltdowns from booze is on the way to an early grave.

Damn. I’m afraid Josh will not change whatsoever. I consistently root for Grandpa to win though.

In the call he says Based tried to pay him and Josh for a livestream, said no amount of money would make him do it.

He’s afraid if he criticizes Based too much that Josh will cut contact.

Grandpa is unsure if it’s mild or severe pancreatitis at the moment.

Grandpa despises Based in general.
