True, but I think he got outed as an adulterer before MeToo really took off and got going, and since the sex was all consensual (or reported as such) nobody gave a shit at the time.

Whedon's an untalented pseudo-intellectual hack who at best is a one-hit wonder with Buffy, and the sooner his career and his influence on the media die out, the better.

And then along came AoU and the stupid no-chemistry forced relationship storyline that followed her around in every gd movie she appeared in after that, and then her resolution in Endgame over Clint.

Like, WHY the f does Black Widow have to be hung up over/sacrificing for men? I hate it so much. She deserved better. At least her friendship with Steve was cute tho. I'm honestly thinking the Black Widow we saw in Endgame was actually Yelena Belova.

AoU sucked dick, the only cool scene was the one teasing Infinity War.

Well I guess the introduction of The Vision was cool too, but overall the movie was a bore.

Not that Whedon isn't a quintessential soyboy or anything, but the wife is obviously ass-over-tits crazy. If you read her cancellation essay she's clearly batshit. My favorite bit is where she claims she's been diagnosed with "complex PTSD," which is not even a real diagnosis, but a proposed one. And even in the proposal it's caused by shit like being held captive in a Chinese prison and tortured for 20 years or getting kidnapped and kept in a rape dungeon or some shit, not by something as retarded as being cheated on. IIRC he hasn't been accused of being an actual sex pest outside of some innuendo that his cheating couldn't have been consensual because he's all famous or whatever.

Whedon might be slimy but this doesn't have anything to do with it.
This is a black man trying to capitalize on the fact that everybody is listening to black people crying about abuse right now.
Otherwise, he would come out with this sooner.
Just wait till he gets some interviews and starts saying that his race had something to do with his treatment.

Also, the Snyder Cut is coming out soon and he's in it.
He didn't get his big break in 2017 and he wants it now.

I have spoken before about how Joss Whedon was the worst thing to ever happen to fiction long before he ever jumped on the SJW bandwagon to try and cover up his own predatory fucking of women under his employ.

Basically he created a formula for zero effort faux-snark reference-based non-drama that was ideal corporate fodder for execs to bankroll since it theoretically hits all major profit areas (i.e. comedy and romance and melodrama and horror and action and whatever) even if it is just 99.99% forgettable mediocrity that aged poorer than industrial cheese left out in the rain for a week. The only reason they stood out is because they were in the 90s and early 00s somewhat different than the more typical corporate schlock at the time and thus managed to gain a fandom by default.

This eventually led to the Big Bang Theory being created off the back of the "LAWL SILLY NURDS AND POP CULTURE REFERENCES! LAWL 10 YEARS OLD INTERNET MAYMES!" shit he pioneered and from there everything turned to absolute cringeworthy shit as every talentless hack in every goddamn industry and creative field started shitting out "LOL SNARK! LOL INTERNET! YAY MY OWN PERSONAL POLITICS! GRRR REAL WORLD PEOPLE AND IDEAS I HATE!" dreck.

There is a reason why I have repeatedly declared Joss Whedon the worst thing to ever happen to speculative fiction.

His entire canon is just cheap "LOL HERO SO #SNARKY! LOL VILLAIN SO #SILLY! LOL EVERYONE SO #REFERENCE!" with heavy smatterings of personal internet/proto internet slapfights he has had with people over the years, which unfortunately is both easily marketed to disinterested normies the same way lazy laughtrack sitcoms were in the 80s, and is even more easily imitated by other worthless and derivative hacks who now see this as the basic template of how to do modern speculative fiction, which is why all of these fucking people have the exact same styles of writing and the exact same characterisations of all characters. They are just copying from the most profitable hack they know of, even if said hack has long been quietly unpersoned and exiled from media.

This is why the SJW shit is just adding septic leprosy to the terminal bowel cancer the comic industry is dying of. Sure it makes it 200% more repulsive and offensive to the senses, but the shit that is actually killing it goes far deeper.

Case in fucking point, compare Buffy to Angel especially considering the production problems and drama that constantly plagued the latter. Isn't difficult to tell who was the brains of that outfit based on who left to work on Angel, and who focused on Buffy seasons 4-7. Granted some of the best individual episodes of the entire series came out of Buffy seasons 4-6 and were written and directed by Whedon, but the seasons taken in sum weren't great. It pretty much proves the point the single best episode of the damn series was the one without dialog.

Oh I don't know. Seasons 1 and 3 really aren't my favorites, mostly because Spike was easily the best and most compelling character on the show and his absence leaves a massive void. Season 5 was the best season overall. Season 6 had a lot of low points but is pretty underrated imo. Season 7 was crappy but the ending at least was emotionally satisfying.
The comics are complete shitshow though. Especially since they were published in a post-mainstream-Whedon world.
 
One of the producers implied that it was actually Fisher the one being difficult, guy got upset and didn't want to say "Booyaa", which is probably the only thing people remember Cyborg for. I can believe that, Fisher is the one nobody cares about, right at the bottom with Falcon and with the BLM nonsense plus the Snyder cut, he probably felt he could get some good guy survivahhh points. Guy wasn't in anything and his career was done the moment Justice League got it's first trailer.

Whedon is gross and most likely a perv but this was a pathetic move by Fisher, have balls to be specific at least. Still, Whedon's sense of humor invading all of entertainment is his biggest crime.

Geoff Johns is one of the higher-ups who "covered Whedon" and some random girl took the ball and accused him for flirting with her at age 17. Her only evidence is one emoticon Johns apparently sent her, one emoticon, when called out the tweet was deleted and her reason was because she wanted to be nice. This shit never ends.
