So...more sonic ripoffs then?
Looks like shitThat's Lilac from Freedom Planet. Well, sort of. She, along with Carol and Milla were created by ZiyoLing years before Freedom Planet even existed. Here's a pic from 2006, one of several from her DA gallery.

As you can see above, Lilac was originally a hedgehog, and the developers of Freedom Planet had permission to use them in the game. Lilac was changed into a water dragon later on during development to make it less of a Sonic ripoff.
So basically, he stole someone else's fan character that appears in a game he hates and recolored them (And even then it looks more closer to Sonic than Lilac anyway, even in her hedgehog form) out of spite.

But would you say he gives autistics a bad name? It's people like this that keep me from publically admitting that I loved the Sonic games on the Sega Genesis as a kid. I'm afraid to be lumped in with them. Maybe it's already too late...
Judging by the artstyle and mapstyle of JtS, Jotex is likely just a fan of the Sonic Adventure games and beyond. It's people like this that keep me from publically admitting that I loved the Sonic games on the Sega Genesis as a kid. Didn't really need the reminder bud, but thanks!Jotex said:Don't look the graphics.
I can attest to this. If you like Sonic games, it's probably the best 2D Sonic game since S3&K. The story is cringey as fuck, but the developers were kind enough to add a classic mode that lets you play through the stages in order with no story.Ftfy
Serious answer, apparently freedom planet is a decent game. The same cannot be said for the nightmare Kotex the sped(ior) created.
Ah yes, so we will haveexcept for releasing it as a Japan-only arcade game
Sorry to double post but I just showed my husband, he who is Japanese, the 'arcade game promo'.
He says the dark blue text is the only thing that makes sense. It just says 'The best arcade game ever'. To quote him:![]()
"It's so messed up I can't even tell what he was trying to say. I think Google translate could do a better job".

It's pie in the stratosphere dreams.Talk about pie in the sky dreams.
If he's constantly trying to ask famous sonic YouTubers to make videos of his games then insisting they just didn't play enough of the game or its map packs for proper criticism if one of them actually makes a video of it, making over a dozen YouTube accounts to like his own videos and whiteknight himself, and trying to make money internationally from a Google-translated sonic fangame made in a basic game maker, it's pretty obvious he's got some serious ego. It's pie in the stratosphere dreams.
Most Japanese arcade games these days have a spot to put a card that tracks your progress so you can compete in online leaderboards, level you characters, etc. He has a bunch of black buttons on his 'arcade promo', but no place to put the card. The 'pod' game I showed in the picture has a headset so you can chat with people in game and stratagize.
The guy can't speak Japanese, can't create features to his game, can't even make a game that isn't utterly broken... yet expects it to get into arcades, with Sega's blessing no less.
I would say he is a troll but nope, no he isn't.
Also what does everyone think those black buttons in the arcade image are supposed to be for? He has six. Does it turn into a rhythm game at some point?
Blaming people for not playing enough of the game is ridiculous considering he says he wants it to be in arcades.
I doubt he has the $100 to attempt to get a game on Steam Greenlight (₱4781.50 in Phllippinian Pesos).I'm honestly surprised he has not tried Steam Greenlight yet. That service is a hotbed for dogshit like this and attracts tons of overly sensitive "developers" just like Jotex.
Oh. I forgot about that part.I doubt he has the $100 to attempt to get a game on Steam Greenlight (₱4781.50 in Phllippinian Pesos).

Looks like he's making another Jotex game (not sure if he's talking about HDA or not)
Why does he need to ask what framerate to put the game at, and why was 165FPS an option?
(also, "DS-bit"?)
