I hear you but I'm not sure she'll be able to find another mark on par with Phil. I think one of the big reasons Khet hasn't tried to jump ship is Phil doesn't expect her to do anything. He's even given up on her being his soulmaid. And just to add on to the points everyone else has made: Phil is extremely insecure. Regardless of social acceptability of being gay, or anything else Phil will never outright admit it.
