Now that doesn't necessarily mean she's outright avoiding him, but at the very least, I think it shows she's not going out of her way to spend time with him. It might not seem like much, but the fact she's apparently staying in during Phil's day out is very telling. Again, it's probably not malicious on her part, I doubt she gives it much thought at all, but her choosing not to even go grocery shopping with him for an hour isn't an indicator of a healthy relationship.

Phil is also really, really bad at verbally hiding stuff. I could believe Khet doesn't want him posting pictures of them together and maybe she even asks him not to talk about her, but this is Phil we're talking about. I think if they were legitimately doing stuff together, he'd slip up more and say things like "Khet and I watched X." That's why the few times he does mention they were actively doing stuff together really stands out. Well, that and the stuff is always pretty weird, like listening to gaming music or watching LPs. Or more normal examples, when he repeats Khet's complaints about her job. If those were happening more frequently, I'd use those as examples that they are spending time together, but they're so few and far between it makes it seem like it's (for Phil) a monumental event that is worth noting. It's one of the side effects of having a hermit lifestyle, it's so easy to tell when something outside the norm happens because Phil will bring it up and make it seem like it was a significant thing because, to him, it really is.

Thing is, Phil could be filling in the gaps in his free time because being with Katherine isn't even an option. And I think that's exactly how it is, because his mood has been shit for a long time. Again, nothing he says ever displays a healthy relationship, especially the stuff that sounds like it might actually be true. With his imagination being as shit as his mood, I have to assume that it's because they have very little interaction, and he just barely manages to conjure any lies out of it. Like I often say, she gives him nothing to work with. That's very relevant when it comes to the pigroach.

Which is why I think she's still there, and avoids him. I find it hard to believe that her departure from the streams including such a vanishing from his life period, is a coincidence. And I don't think Mr. Mature Adult With A Wife is the one neglecting to spend time with said wife. He tends to do things simply to generate talking material, when it's easy and strokes his e-peen the way an apparent relationship does. Say what you will about what he had with Leanna, you couldn't deny they were a couple, and no matter his motivation, Lumpy was living up to that in a way he doesn't seem able to with Katherine.

But he WAS, back when she partook in streams. Those may have been cringe-worthy, but they demonstrate what it's like when the pigroach is getting what he wants. They show that he wants to spend time with Kat, if only to make it easier to sell his LARPing. They show that he's not happy with things appearing such a way that threads like this have so many pages, and it bleeds into the main thread often. Obviously he does shit to contribute to it, most prominently his late nights on Twitter, as those are solid proof that when he says he has no time, he's lying.

[Speaking of which, if he does permanently drop the night streams one day, like he seems to be setting up for, things should get interesting, because if Kat isn't avoiding him, there should be an uptick in credibility in his stories.]

But with him doing that, and it be highly unlikely that he just doesn't care about hanging with Kat even for LARPing reasons, there's no other explanation to me. Especially with her bowing out of their shopping days, for reasons Phil neglects to say, but supposedly not out of anything else on his days off. And the concept of her bringing stuff home from work being non-existent for no stated reason.

i think phils reluctance against showering and brushing his teeth probably repels Kat on its own. dude literally chews his water.
maybe back when leanna was around, he actually showered more than once a week. heck, leanna probably pestered him into doing so.
look at how crazy phil scratches himself. thats probably from being caked in grease and filth.
someone theorized that how much he scratches himself is evident of when he showers.
when he showers, he doesnt scratch. as more time passes, he scratches more and more.

Alternatively, he could be drawing comparisons between the relationship he and Kat have, and the relationship he saw his parents have with each other. If ole Dave wasn't very active with Linda, DSP might just think that is just how it is when you're married.

His parents cheated on each other, his mother didn't work after having him, and they took in his troubled older cousin Melissa at some point in his childhood. It's not normal but it's certainly interesting which is more than could be said for Phil and Katherine.

My money is on Phil basing his ideas of marriage on what he saw from his real parents by which I mean TV: Think of shows like "The Simpsons" or "Married with Children", the husband works full-time to support the family while the wife is a homemaker, maybe with a hobby or part-time job to keep her busy, but it never gets in the way of cooking and cleaning because the family would implode if she weren't there to keep things in order.

Pretty much with an emphasis on "autistic". What distinguishes Phil (and CWC for that matter) from other people isn't that he watches too much TV, it's that he watches too much TV and does not understand that it's not real life. At least to me this is part of what makes people so unsympathetic towards Phil - he acts like an over-the-top cartoon or WWE character even in circumstances where it is not appropriate and insists "DSP" is not an act when questioned which makes it hard to avoid the conclusion that he's a jackass.

Edit: if Phil suddenly starts dropping "me and muh wife played Halo together last night" stories on us, maybe you'll have the ghost of a point.

I just wanted to point out it's coming up on 3 years they've been married and they still have separate bank accounts.

Phil absolutely will not under any circumstances allow Kathy into his life in a way that would allow her to see his transaction history.

They also file separate tax returns. I haven't looked to see how much they could potentially save by filing a joint return but I'm assuming they will continue to file separately at Phil's insistence for the same reason, because Phil is a gacha gambling addict and doesn't want her to see his gross income.

Imagine if she found out he spends more on sweaty-man JPGs in a year than she makes.
Phil plays his manipulative poor-man, just scraping by enough to afford the luxuries that Phil wants but nothing more, sad sack of shit with both pockets turned out shtick to his wife.

Phil can play happy families all he wants, but he's literally lying to his wife to hide a pathetic gambling addiction from her. He pretends to make just enough to cover bills, food, and the alcohol and restaurant luxuries that he wants when he makes enough to completely take care of her without her having to go to shitty minimum wage jobs that she hates and isn't good at.

I don't think Kathy looks at anything online about Phil from anything in the detractor-sphere to even his own streams.
She just believes all Phil's manipulative lies about what people say about him, and he likely gaslights her about the "disgusting things mentally-ill morons say to attack my family".

Phil is just lucky his wife doesn't care to think too hard as long as her food-bowl is full and he leaves her alone.

A year or two ago Phil mentioned that they were having a Christmas movie marathon and Kat put an end to that real quick. He said she was sick of Christmas stuff because she's surrounded by it all day long at her job.

The closest Phil and Kat have ever come to playing a co-op game is Animal Crossing. Phil would go around the island showing off what Kat had done.

Pretty sure this isn't true, Phil mentioned getting a check from the last round of stimulus payments which is not possible with his income because eligibility was based on gross income (i.e. without the ability to deduct business expenses). On the other hand getting the full amount would make perfect sense if they filed jointly - he makes more than enough to be ineligible for a stimulus check but she makes so little that their combined income entitles them to the full amount. Kat is very incurious and Phil's accountant offered to do her taxes at no extra cost so I could see him sending her Fred Meyer W-2 over with all his stuff, asking them to make it a joint return, then telling her some BS about how "the accountants messed up and submitted the wrong return, now you need to sign this new one".

Edit: Everything related to the stimulus checks was doubled for couples including the payout. Phil could have filed a joint tax return then split the stimulus payment 50/50 with Kat and it would be the equivalent of each of them getting a full check.

Of course we are talking about Phil so I wouldn't put it past him to keep all the money for himself.

I believe the bank leaks show he did have a deposit that matched the amount a joint filing couple would receive.

Of course that went into Phil's account and that money went directly to Scopely, so too bad for Kat I guess.

Again I'm not from Burgeland so I have no idea how they checked how people qualify, so if anybody knows please share with the class, as I agree him getting it makes zero sense.
