Ah, I didn't know about that. I like that we don't need to even be that sure that it was her, based on the fact that Phil hates effort and people way too much to acquire some kind of stand-in. Not even to shut down the speculation would he go to that kind of trouble.

Additionally, it would be way too clever of a move to be made by the same guy who put a ring on the female roommate he purchased for LARPing purposes when going from fake girlfriend to fake girlfriend would've been way easier and made him look more like a Chad (to his tards, that is).
 
Anybody who thinks DSP has the ability to keep up a façade like his wife actually leaving him ages ago for this long is giving him way too much credit.

Considering she's a complete non-entity never to be seen or heard from ever again on his streams it doesn't really require any effort whatsoever on his part to maintain it. All he has to do is cook a proper (ly disgusting looking) meal 3 times a year and stick it on his instagram. At this stage this is all the proof of life he offers the internet when she could technically be decomposing in a spawnseats chair in her office cum final resting place.

I don't believe she's gone but if she does ever come to her senses and split just like with Leanna he'll still try and keep it under wraps at least until he's got another spongebob fan tugging on the line.

I have to agree that Phil doesn't have to do anything beyond mention her occasionally on stream to remind us she exists. And unlike with Leanna who was so above his looks level and knew he could never find that good again, I don't think Phil would be broken up if Katherine leaves. It's all about adult Phil having his adult wife and not looking like a loser incel nerd.

Not enough by itself for me to think she has told him it's over. If we knew she found a fatter wallet, sure, but since she's a non-entity on the net, we're not going to know until the divorce papers get filed.

My speculation is that it's the Midfirst situation.
 
My guess is it's been "over" for quite some time, probably around the time Phil was bitching about mashed potatoes, but they're living with each other because there's benefits for both parties. Katherine can't find a fatter wallet now. She's 30 and the wall has hit.

I don't think it was ever on in the way you're implying to begin with, for it to now be over. It was probably always a partnership of mutual benefits with love playing no role whatsoever.

Yes, but I do believe there had to be some mutual connection. My guess is some bond based on drug addiction (Phil with his gin, Katherine with who knows), coming off a relationship where they felt wronged despite themselves being the guilty ones, and both were streaming at the time. Katherine had to feel some level of stability and comfort with Phil. Now with the bankruptcy and everything she's learned, that can't remain.
