Ages ago, back on DailyKos, when the site used to have a fairly big population of non-progressives (Dem Oldsters, sympathetic Repubs, fence-sitting Indies, etc), I remember that one of the funniest fucking things Keith was known for was that for every solid, passionate rant he could make that perfectly found his mark, he had like six that were frothing sperg-outs straight out of Tim and Eric skit.

Reminds me, even in Keith's "heyday" as a political commentator he wouldn't have opposing views on to talk about topics, instead opting to have people on to agree with him and possibly add some obviously skewered data to his views to bolster them. This is why wonks like Rachel Maddow and Ezra Klein got so popular, as they were frequent guests on his prime time show. He reasoned that he doesn't have opposing views on his show because he doesn't want to debate but rather "enlighten", but now that he's on twitter and he can't hide from differing viewpoints it's pretty clear he's just a giant fucking moron.
