🎨 Artcow Ken Penders - Former Archie Sonic Comic Writer/Artist

I want to do a re-draw of that character just to figure out how the hell to make her design work in a less cluttered way, and then do a full redesign just for gits and shiggles. It will be interesting to see how he breaks down the process, there's just so much going on to make it look weird. His pencil skills look very rudimentary, his inks should be scanned differently so that they don't have that crusty grey look. the coloring style doesn't fit the cartoony(?) art style, they should have at least something behind them rather than floating in The Aqua Void etc.

It is always revealing to see how people that are so entrenched in their leftist echo chambers and ailed with Trump Derangement Syndrome such as Ken to be also detached from observable reality. People like him loose the ability to evaluate anything with objectivity, not even themselves.

They are so used to observe everything around them and themselves through their ideological lens of being "in the right side of history", being "virtuous and perfect just the way they are" or "feelz over realz" that they have lost completely the capacity for self-evaluation. Not only in Ken's eyes is his art skill laudable, it is worthy of being instructed and learned by other. This is one of the most delusional things he has ever posted.

The character is not "intimidating" because it is difficult to draw, it is because it is a aesthetic nightmare, it is an eyesore of a design and he just goes, "yeah this is great" instead of taking a step back and asking himself :

- "Is this really right?
- "Should I try to revise her design, maybe try something different?
- Perhaps I need outside feedback, a second opinion?

No, he just pushes ahead with this kaleidoscope of suck character, I bet this was his first draft without any further iterations.

I'm certain any competent artist will take a look at this design and make it work, but not without some heavy revisions. Most certainly not sticking closely to the original concept. His technique is so flawed across the board that anyone with a modicum of art training will do better. To be honest, his lines aren't the worst offender, it is his coloring and shading that turn his sketches into true eldritch horrors.

Now that I think about it, isn't Ken's whole shtick to take an existing character, slightly adjusting the design. giving it a new name and then calling it his original "donut steel"? He literally made a career out of it! So why not do the same to this character? Go for it, redraw and re-design her but do not give him the pleasure of acknowledging that it is the same character, because at that point, it really isn't. Give her another name and what do you know, you made an original character of your very own. A bit of a taste of his own medicine, sort of speak.

to add on your point about ken having TDS he doesn’t fact check the sources from the MSM he just eats it. He even reads the daily kid which record in sourcing and fact checking is not that good, it gets worse when he lives in California which is not doing well in terms of crime and the fact he supports a party which nobody likes at the moment and their man guy has probably some of the worst approval ratings in a long while. Sure trump had worse ratings but with Biden it’s a not a good sign. Freedom is rising against the dems and people like ken who is nothing more than a delusional shit lib who is mini cog of the establishment. We saw his worse with the pandemic and the riots advocating for the destruction and supporting terrorism, hell he voted for the VP and members of Biden’s staff who bailed out the rioters. He probably looked good on paper. Relationship with DC comics. Some of his OCs weren't (visually) too bad.

Geoffrey was an Aussie skunk who cucked Sonic the whole time. Sonic rarely met someone who was a match for him. (Geoffrey is supremely arrogant, but loyal to the kingdom above all else.)

What actually happens is that Geoffrey comes in, solves the conflict because he's the only character who carries weapons, and leaves. Under Ken's pen, Sonic was written as crass, clueless idiot. He caused a significant wedge between Sonic and Sally, to the point where they spent a lot of time apart in the late 90s and early aughts.

I guess they shunted Ken off to the Knuckles book so they wouldn't have to deal with him. When that book tanked, he migrated back to Sonic. All the oddly horny moments in the book were due to him. For instance, it was once implied that Scourge (disguised as Sonic) slept with Bunnie Rabbot.
