What annoys me is that I don't get what exactly it is he's supposedly trying at. In the context of work, what is he "trying" to do? Like is there some hard as fuck paperwork he keeps failing to file and has to continue trying to do? He stuffs this Ken-try shit in everywhere to the point where it's like a meaningless buzzword now. It makes sense in the context of trying to get laid but he's using it everywhere.
Apparently his high school pals called him Ken-try, and now his work colleagues too. Did they all really coincidentally come up with the same nickname for him, or was it sort of self-given? Maybe that was how he got through the interview by listing "trying" as one of his main qualities.
In any case its a very irritating catch phrase.

All new draft players wear this (this was from Vlog 11) In any event though what I want to talk about is, women leading men on savvy guy aka brandon (aka oreo man) made a video about this so I thought I should too. But anyways, I agree with everything he said, women that, women, women shouldn't give a number to men when knowing dog gone well they aren't into the guy. I've been there many times before. I have shared a few of my stories a long time ago. Women who have, led him on. And uh, speaking of that there are women who, know they aren't into this guy and don't feel him they aren't his type but then give him a number. then he tries to set up a date a lunch date or dinner date, then 9/10 she flakes out or coming out of with any excuse why she can't go out with this dude.
She will say things like I'm busy or I work. If you think about if she was feeling a dude she would wouldn't not come up with an excuse to not go she'd go on a date. She wouldn't come up with any excuse in the book to not go out with him or go on a date with him. It's nonsense, he does't do that. I know. Just don't be doing that. Women have done that. I remember one time a female, uh. She was I thought she liked me she gave signs. Deep down she didn't it was an act. Women like the attention, be her with a boy friend or single or it's her type of guy. Women like attention women want attention from men, but anyways. I wasn't this girls type (read any) She gave me her # turns out it was a fake #. I didn't take it well (no shit) he took it as a harsh rejection, a very very harsh rejection. It was a fake #. She was all trying to Kent was trying to make a dinner date with her. She acted like she was into it and cool with it, he called her it was a fake number. I called it the number was cut off.
You know? So I said screw this chick I'll keep it moving. But um a lot of women and it is true. A lot of women give out to numbers because it won't hurt a guys feelings. Savvy guy also said this sometimes guys need feelings hurt. Gotta hurt feelings women need to hurt mens feelings. Men shouldn't have to go with this. Women shouldn't do it. Just say straight up I'm not into you you know? His feelings gotta be hurt know what I'm saying? At least some men can respect the female is honest, and being straight up truth, instead of giving this guy your phone number and knowing you aren't into him and in his brain. his mind oh he thinks she feels me she's into me, this isn't the case and when he tries to set up a date you don't respond and flake out on him or use a stupid stupid excuse in the book like being busy or I have work or like oh oh I don't know uh my brother has been in a car accident. Any excuse in the book they can think of , of why they can't think of you .I got put into that spot time and time and time again. Dealing with these women man. It's ridiculous man. There are some men out there that have loose screws some men and some men, car is passing by some men don't take it lightly and stalk the female (Shout out to Jamil for this) finds out where she lives. And ends up, you know seriously possibly or possibly injuring or murdering her in the first degree.

How I'm Feeling Vlog #12
Kent is glad these vlogs have been helping us. He's happy and will try to do them daily, how's it going on youtube this is Kent making a new vlog Vlog #12. This is how he's feeling, it's a good night tonight it's a good week so far. So far, things going well at his job, that's what he wants to talk about so far so good at his job 6-7 girls he works with they all like him. Kent was called into to work he's getting those hours. As for me working working in the back, and stuff like that he chops it up just as friends. They took time to get to know me, they are nice girls and stuff like that, I'm the only guy working at the time, we had a good talk you know? They are probably my age, some are older some my age two girls are younger. Other than that we were chopping it up laughing having a good time. They got to know me and we are friends. This is good for me, to have female friends. Having female friends we were talking and having a nice convo.
They asked me, and they asked me do I have a girl friend two girls asked me. He said no, they said he seems nice how doesn't he have a girl friend. I told them I just don't have one. The people at my job call me Kent try because I try. I keep trying to work harder and all that stuff, I do a good job. My boss told me Kent you do a good job, you are Kent try. This is the nick name I give my self. I told them to call me Kent try, I never quit. That's why I'm still alive. I'm still here, you know? I'm still here. But um, thing is thing wanted me to close. So I had to close down at closing. Helping them out and help out. The girl was like oh Kent thanks for helping. What are you up to on such and such day. I'm doing things on such and such. Kent said I'm free at this date at such and such time. The reason why I wanted to take you to lunch, she wanted to treat me to lunch.
Kent was like sure you want to treat me to lunch, I expect the unexpected. One of the girls wants to treat me to lunch. He likes this. This is good part of a job, you get to meet people and it's good and really good being employed. While I'm on the clock gotta do what you do. I work real hard. I'm on the clock I work hard. When off I have fun, other person off clock too. They said want to take me to lunch, that made me feel good it's a good thing. Let me say this, everything I say is not made up I don't make things up. I don't be lying or putting on an act. This is no front. I don't do that I'm not that type of person but anyways, they say you are a great guy kent try. I have nothing to hide. I just am open and honest they all ask. What are your goals in life, I told them my goals things I want to do in the future and being open. Asking what year I graduated HS what I like to do things I like so I told them.
They asked me questions and wanted to get to know me, we laughed a few times and chopped it up as friends. You know as friends? But you know, we also were talking about relationships as well, they said they have boy friends. They asked me if I have a girl I said no, they asked why. You are a clean cut guy how do you not have one. I just don't I told them. Most of the girls I try talking to reject me, they said oh Kent you'll find a girl one day. I just chuckled like yea right. It's how I feel. I had a good day at work. The day I didn't do a vlog it was yesterday that was a good day, I was busy at work. Other than that, I had a good time. Helping out and stuff like that it's best way. They see I'm a good person. I tell them I am. I am just honest. I don't be putting a front or no body. I just am honest I just am honest with my feelings. Yea uh, they seem like they accept me as a friend I like this. they want to treat me to lunch.

At closing I left and went and came home, other than that. I just wanted to share all that. Things are looking up, I'm flattered really flattered by those girls. I said I have to go and they said please stay. I hung for a little bit, but I left. It seems like they like me, as a friend.
And uh, I'm flattered. And stuff like that they got to know me, and things are looking up for me. Never know what future leads too. Never know. Anyways. Yea that's what's going on. Tons of people I did a video last year, um, you see all these people out here. People all over. Thousands possibly 2000 people close too.

Tons of people I did a video last year, um, you see all these people out here. People all over. Thousands possibly 2000 people close too.

You don't get to tell people the kind of person you are, they learn it and make their own claim. Just like Kent picked his own nick name. I will say him working really seems to have helped him a lot, he's still Kent... and it's sad as well as dull to watch these videos, it's great he's happy but Kent not doing much in life is so blown away and happy by tiny stuff. In ways it's also really nice to see his child like wonder and amusement.

The Type of Person That I am #Realtalk
Kent is decked out in Raiders gear and greets us. This is not a vlog, this is just uh uh a normal youtube video. He hopes you like the draft hat, he does. But anyways, in this video he wants to talk about himself and talk about the type of person I am. Like I said before I've done this before and I'll remake it. The type of person I am I am the coolest person you will meet. (and humble) I treat people how I want to treated. Pretty much 10/10 people with respect, in person and stuff. You cool with me you cool. I don't care what race you are or where you come from, as long as you are cool with me. Treat me with respect I'll treat you with respect. Most of the time when people take time to know me, and get to see, who I am as a person 9/10 most of the time, most like me. I'm a likable person personally. A lot of people tend to befriend me easy (name one friend Kent) Like the girls at my job, they are co workers and stuff like that.
They all, you know at work and stuff, they took time to get to know me and that's why they like me, they really like working with me, I enjoy working with me. You gotta take the time to get to know someone, don't judge people on outer looks or demonor. Get to know them, they may be your friend if you know them. You may like them. At first when I got this job, I wasn't sure of them but I got to know them they got to know me. Now they got to be my friend. Let me tell you about my lunch, that's another video. Yea take the time to get to know me and see how I am personally. You know? Most people like me. Really they befriend me If I'm by myself and stuff like that, most of the time I just stay in my own lane and keep to myself. I'm the type for not starting trouble I don't look for it. I don't start trouble with no body. I try to innocent as possible, and one of the girls there a co worker at my job. She said you are so innocent Kent. I'll tell one of my co workers the type of person I was. I get a lot of criticism, from other people for how I dress and stuff and by me wearing sports hats and she said she said, you are a grown man Kent, that's on you it's your right to wear what you want. Who cares what people think? What matters is you are a good person. That's what she told Kent, he agrees 100% I'm one of the coolest people I'm chill and laid back, I'm relaxed, I'm a people watcher, I listen.

For me, you know, I think uh, I think a lot of people miss out, women miss out who rejected him and turned him down they didn't even trying to get to know me and see me as a person, if a woman gave me the time to know me she would end up liking me. It is what it is. If a woman really likes me she will go out of her way, listen to me, if she goes out her way to know me and talk to me and try to go on a date with me. She would go out of her way to do this. You know?

Excellent video man. You're a really smart dude. I get tired of people telling that I need to dress better and quit wearing so many hats etc etc. My hats are my lively hood and my hats are who I am as a person.
Now this assumes Kent used his words correctly. Him mentioning stocking and working with so many people I'm inclined to agree its a store like target.

Forgive the triple post but finally catching up to Kent's vlogs.
How I'm Feeling - Vlog 13.
Kent opens showing us the light house. It's 17 seconds until he drops his famed opening. This is another vlog, he's at his favorite spot because it's chill. This is vlog 13 now? He thinks. He wanted to tell us how his weekend is and how he's feeling. He's had a chill day, yesterday he treated himself to lunch by himself sometimes it's nice to treat yourself out. He wanted to tell us his lunch went well with his co workers it was pretty chill being chill. Taking time getting to know me, he wants to be a friend. They are getting to know me, just normal stuff and stuff like that normal talk. It was real nice of them to treat him out to lunch. It was real nice, he told them thanks he really was thankful no woman has taken him out before it was a very nice gesture had did. He really liked that. He liked it a lot. He also, also today another co worker you know what I mean, she said what's up kent try she gave him a hug. They are nice girls. Any time he walks in he has a smile on his face, this makes him feel good.
It's a good thing, you feel lonely and go find a job try to get a job you meet a lot of women at jobs. Put yourself out there it doesn't hurt to try, I tried and me me me going Kent Try mode, it really paid off. It really paid off, other than that it's a nice night a nice saturday night tomorrow is mom's day hope you have a good one. I'm just chilling relaxing enjoying my sat night, it's been over cast, very over cast past few days. Day before yesterday a thunderstorm this morning. They are rare in California but we had one day before yesterday. That was thrusday he enjoyed it he likes rainy weather it's just who he is he likes what he likes, anyways though. It seems the girls his co workers they like me man, just as friends. I'll just be cool and relax and see where things lead too, you don't know where the future leads you don't know what can happen in future I'll stay up stay up man. Feel what I'm saying , all I can do.
I've been trying and it paid off man, but other than that it's nice and quiet hear crickets and it's a nice night tonight. What really made me feel good today at my job one of the girls a different co worker gave me a hug she didn't have to she was nice she didn't have to hug me she clearly likes me, if she hugged me. She said give me a hug and hugged me. She said what's up Kent try and hugged me. They call me Kent try because I try. I'm not a quitter and I don't give up. Like what's up Kent try and she hugged me, and I won't put her name out but she's a nice girl. I won't put her name out there. I won't. But um, that's what happened. Lunch went well with co workers. Just you know, that was a nice gesture to treat me like that. They didn't have to I can't thank them anymore, no woman has treated me out to anything to anything. By them treating me out was unexpected. I really didn't expect that I didn't expect them to do that.
I guess they enjoy me and working with me. It was a nice gesture, yea it's pretty much it. Girls hugging me, smiling oh and I want to say this too I want to say this too. Because you know at my job I said something I try to be funny I'm not a funny dude, it just comes naturally. People laugh at my jokes (over under he's being laughed at not with?) I don't consider myself to be a funny person a female co worker heard something that made her laugh she said "boy you so silly" and started laughing Kent doesn't try to be he just tries to be Kent. All I'm doing all I'm doing. She was like boy you so silly. You really are silly you know that? He wasn't aware and took it as a compliment, he was just being me. All I was doing man. Being me. Being who I am. But um, yea yall wanted to share it he hopes we enjoy his vlogs nothing wrong with making a video and telling you how life is treating me, and how you are feeling nothing wrong with it nothing at all. I like making them and enjoy them. He feels better after making a vlog and uploading he feels real good he feels good now he feels good tonight.

Hmmm, a woman tried to offer him a ride home which he rejected because he had a car. He says that he tried to make it a joke but I am unsure if it came across like that.

I'm worried about this one, Kent is doing very well right now, his co workers took him out to lunch because Kent was honestly a good guy, and helped close. Now this is also the problem, Kent probably wouldn't have done that for male co workers. He mentioned in his last video you don't know what the future holds. I hope for his sake he isn't going to fuck this up. I've said many times, he's got the tools to have a simple happy life, and it seems he's using them. The irony the man who spawned the Kentosphere has the best chance of making it.
If you want to do something stupid at work, steal pens. Don't dip in company ink. I hate to boast or over importantize our thread here but Kent's still influenced by some really bad humans him being social and working really seems to be awesome for him both emotionally but all around. Routine helps depression a feeling of usefulness does as well. Kent's got them now and look how cheery he is, he rambles on and on about the smallest stuff, but when he's worked up he rambles so yes. He's super happy about a hug. Great I honestly like that innocence in him, it's cool to see. In ways I think some of us are almost envious of Kent, (projecting because I'm a grumpy old man) that child like wonder he has. I'm happy he's put himself out and reaping the benefits.

Now this is also the problem, Kent probably wouldn't have done that for male co workers. He mentioned in his last video you don't know what the future holds. I hope for his sake he isn't going to fuck this up. I've said many times, he's got the tools to have a simple happy life, and it seems he's using them. The irony the man who spawned the Kentosphere has the best chance of making it.
If you want to do something stupid at work, steal pens. Don't dip in company ink. I hate to boast or over importantize our thread here but Kent's still influenced by some really bad humans him being social and working really seems to be awesome for him both emotionally but all around. Routine helps depression a feeling of usefulness does as well. Kent's got them now and look how cheery he is, he rambles on and on about the smallest stuff, but when he's worked up he rambles so yes. He's super happy about a hug. Great I honestly like that innocence in him, it's cool to see. In ways I think some of us are almost envious of Kent, (projecting because I'm a grumpy old man) that child like wonder he has. I'm happy he's put himself out and reaping the benefits.
I'm just scared of this topic because he really needs to not over think things with women right now it could be his undoing.

Could 2016 be his year?? Probably not, but hey he will continue to be Ken-Try!
Seriously tho, perhaps, just perhaps if can be chill with these new peeps and maybe get into a social situation or two, he could just luck onto a woman or something. Hopefully he will be taking his autism meds at the time.
Kent ain't ugly, he at least has a clean appearance, altho his wardrobe loses him points, and he seems like the kind of guy at least initially would be polite and come across as non-thuglike. Yeah, he is short, lacks some social skills and shit, but to me his big probs are his lack of confidence and his placement on the spectrum.
It will be interesting to see how this new situation plays out. I hope it goes well for him.
