It's a nice change of pace to see a gynecologist openly admit that srs is fucked up. I'm not sure if this person has a real identity publically connected to this account, but to be sure they would probably be harrassed for speaking about this experience so truthfully if they do. I feel, in some part, that many doctors who are not anonymous just go along with it all to protect their jobs. If Dr. Rumer taught me anything, making money is all (most of) these people care about. Lying through their teeth that srs is the best option, changes lives for the better, and is healthy is all a part of the job. Makes me wish that there was more medical push-back so doctors could actually speak out against these surgeries without fear of mobs of trannies trying to cancel them and ruin their businesses.

The 41% number is functionally a statistic pulled out of an amhole--it's gotten from a shit-tier survey that was only asking if you'd considered suicide (and didn't check, say, for other reasons somebody might be suicidal or get the base rate because it'd be oh so problematic if it turned out the rate for non-troons considering offing themselves was higher), and then misquoted...

But I'd expect we'd be hearing it being REEEd from the rooftops if the suicide rate of troons who got bottom surgery was lower than the rate for ones who didn't.

Not wrong at all, but I'll be honest at this point in clown world if all they're doing is walking around in glasses I'll deal. At least it isn't a gimp suit and a leash in front of children, and sadly we've reached the point where I think that is a win.

What the fuck? What is the reason for keeping erectile tissue and putting the "vagina" behind the prostate? Every troon should remember that this experimental elective surgery isn't as basic as, say, other types of plastic surgery (lipo, breast augmentation, etc) and it's not a "one size fits all" procedure.
