Oh dear, if that's the troon ranch, they're in for a lot of trouble trying to get anything to survive. Alpacas are hardier than most farm animals, but they still need some amount of nutrition and that grass is completely dry and dead. The alpacas will eat it, but they won't get any nutrition and will very quickly start losing weight, and with how short the grass is they'll eat it to the ground within a few weeks, depending on how large the farm is. I hope for the alpacas sake they get some rain soon, because the ranch will be very short lived without it. Unless they plan on buying feed, which as whole other can of worms. Aside from that, the fence I can see won't keep in alpacas if they're determined to get through it.It's time for today's episode of "Parallel Lives," or "What's Kevin Doing While the Others Are Working?" At 10:07 this morning, the troons were out in the field savoring the wonder and the majesty of the alpaca haven they have created:

It wouldn't surprise me if the troon squad figured that running a ranch meant letting the animals into a barren field and petting them once in a while.
