I know they've done/are doing e-begging but they can't be making a living from it surely?
As someone upthread pointed out, alpaca wool is no good business. Also, from those Youtube videos I glean they have a few dozen drama llamas at most; commercial herds of sheep range from 400 to 1000. In free-roaming places like England and Scotland they're herded by a single shepherd and a few well-trained dogs, plus some farm hands at the stables. None of them get rich.
They could sell chicken eggs (I recall they have chickens) and duck meat, if they have permission for that, but I don't see how they can provide for 5+ men of which at least 1 is on semi-permanent sick leave.
I have to ask the question, with the move being pushed back has there been any mention of how they are going to move all their alpacas?
They could let them walk all the way. Imagine Bataan, but now with alpaca sheep rather than English PoWs.
