The first one is an interesting mix of PS1 era survival horror and JRPG. Combat system was also used in Vagrant Story, which is more of a dungeon crawler with 3D sokoban elements. If you like that weird experimental era of Squaresoft, both games are worth checking out. Never played the second Parasite Eve. Assume it just improves what the first one was trying to do.
Not to mention that some games still consider body types to be picking your gender, like the Oblivion Remaster and Elden Ring.
You would assume wrong. PE2 changes the gameplay to a basic bitch tank controls Resident Evil clone.

I only played two of their games. the 3DS one (Burst) and Shinovi Versus. The 3DS game sold me on the characters, not just the good guys, but the "bad guys" as well, even though parts of their story was a copy/paste of the hero story (e.g. the card game on the boat scene), but it gave you a reason to care about them because they had a fucked up past and no one else would take them in, especially the "good" side, where they are so anally strict that they ban you for the most mundane shit. Was disappointed on the anime though, specifically the ending. It isn't exactly canon to how the true ending is for the game. Also I think it was censored, but then again I got the Funimation DVD/Blu-Ray combo, so that might be why.
I bought Burst and SK2 Deep Crimson (direct sequel to Burst). I really enjoyed Burst, played it multiple times and finished all of the stories, unlocked Daidoji and all that jazz. I never got around to playing Deep Crimson because I stupidly forgot the 3DS is region locked, and I bought the special edition of DC from American Amazon.
They put Fuku in stockings and body type are the only things so far. It's rather 1/8th assed.

Seems to be a trend with these games. I was looking for a new "cozy" game as they've come to be known apparently and came across Chef RPG.(Which by the way is a fucking terrible title) Seemed interesting enough, Stardew Valley but you run a restaurant, but some of the portraits are truly pig fucking disgusting.
Oh absolutely. The farm sim genre is extremely pozzed and full of shit like this. It really sucks, but since it's a big hit with women you see their influence in that way.

I am so tired of cozy games being woke. So, so tired. I haven't played much of Sims 4 and then when I ALMOST ALMOST ALMOST decided to give EA my money for expansions, I learned they had put in zippertits and shit like that. I wouldn't even pirate it now.
even the more mild ones are still filled with this, it's so exhausting. I'm not deathly allergic to troonslop, if the majority of the content is solid and I'm not forced to interact with a tranny self-insert to progress the main story (for example, I really like Cyberpunk 2077 and I like Claire, the trans identified man who's a bartender in The Afterlife, who has a set of sidequests where you can optionally drive in her trans flag-sporting car for some street races. Learning he's trans is 100% optional, you won't know it unless you REALLY listen and identify that the voice actor is also a TIM, you don't interact much with Claire except for ordering a drink once or twice during the main story) but these days I just have a very visceral reaction to art that is clearly woke-coded. You know exactly what art style I'm talking about.
On the bright side, The Sims 4 is very easy to add interactions/mods. Installing the Ultraviolence mod and just go in a killing spree, killing every zippertits and animal people you see. Fun to be had, forever!
