at this point, I kind of wish he went back to his father's place. he wouldn't have to pay rent and, hopefully, it could help with his drinking, but I know this is a pipe dream.

He obviously has a bank account he has access to if he's able to overdraw it regularly. I don't think paying for it is an issue of not having a method to complete the transaction, he literally can't pay for it in that he does not have the money or wouldn't spend it on that if he did.

Clint probably doesn't want him there and I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Trying to live with Cobes would be a huge pain, and if Clint tried to rein in any of his behaviors Josh would tard rage about it. Plus the a-logs would start sending all of their Doordash and whatever to Clint's address. It's way easier for Clint to just buy a trailer to stash Josh away in at a safe distance.

..... then ending up fully invested and up to date with the lore of the Cobraverse within 48 hours.

I guess that if there aren't any meta tags on a site, Microsoft just indexes the first few lines of content from the homepage... which currently happens to be the first item in Featured Content.
