Yeah, whenever he’s sober he’s the base level of respectful to the people who live near him, except for the spray paint in doors but it is what it is youtoob. He only really gets super loud when he’s blackout drunk, and I think that’s where a lot of his more sober “I’ve been nothing but nice and respectful to my neighbors dood… I never cause a scene or call the cops on them for being loud…” rants come from, he’s coping because he’s literally incapable of remembering all the times he’s probably woke up half the apartment complex, and if he is able to remember most of what he did it’s the “troll’s fault” for riling up him and his neighbors by making him rage on purpose. He could also be coping as in his head “I’ve only been nice” could refer to the times they actually come to him in person to talk, as opposed to the times he could’ve woken them up by either screaming, playing guitar, or getting absolutely sloshed.

I agree, he's not an asshole in any way, shape or form. He can act like one at times, usually because of being drunk, autistic, retarded, or a combination of all three, but at heart he's not like that.

You could really see this contrast when he was interacting with NAL, she just plain doesn't give a shit about anybody besides herself.

He's also lived in shitholes where if he annoys his neighbors enough, they will confront him (famously, when neighbors were having DoorDashed food to the wrong apartment number and that hick seemed willing to get into an actual fight over it).
