Absinth was kinda a let down. It was built up as some special booze that will get you high and fucked up — or some magical shit like that.

It depends what you get there are a lot of knock down stuff thats basicly just stronger than normal spirits and then there is the real stuff that's a tipex for your brain.

Whiskey though, laphraig especially, is a hard hangover— smell alone is revolting the day after. Shit is too expensive to be pounding like water though. Cobes would mix £80 bottles with Mt. Dew… no fucking appreciation from that boglim.

Ironically I'd like to see what happens if you gave him some serious top shelf stuff to see what he thinks about it, I know he's not got a cultured pallet and he drinks like a Teenager where getting smashed quickly matters more than what it tastes like but the results could be interesting to see once.

I do think Buckfast would be his bane. Caffeine and booze in a sugary drink? He would be in fucking heaven while he pisses his custom pants.

I tried that shit once and hated it, but I'd be interested for cobes to try more UK budget minded alcoholic priced booze, like MD20/20 that stuffs vile tastes like your drinking hand sanitiser thinded out with the water leaking from the septic tank of a pacer train after a Wine and Seafood curry convention.

Clear liquor that isn't allowed to be branded any kind of known type like Vodka or Korn is worse.
You can really taste that they distilled every last drop out of the jenkem they poured in the still.

But see my thing is in the Seizure interview, though he still had that classic Boglim Brainfog, he could understand, respond, and generally conversate as good as I've seen him do in a long time. And he was drinking during that, too, albeit not as hard (as far as I could tell). I think we're long past the "Is he an alcoholic?" stage but ever since that stream I'm a bit less certain he's as far gone as I initially suspected.

No that's what sent him down this path to beging with, he was already at risk of mental health problems and had other serious medical issues since birth the Alcohol has just compounded those pre-existing issues and popped the cork on some others to the point he's now showing signs of serious early decline.

He got burned hard on charge backs from what I hear. A $5 donation can turn into negative $20 if there is a charge back that has the payment processor invovled. On top of the fact that he can't just let money sit, it HAS TO BE SPENT TODAY so he never has a buffer.
