A little off topic, but I'm pretty amazed at how quickly Josh rose to lolcow status. It took four years for this thread to get to page 12. In a little over a year and half it is about to hit page 200.

The subreddit has seen exponential growth as well. Took four years to hit 6k in 2020 and has since doubled.

Admittedly, I didn't watch Josh regularly. I found him after the Trapped documentary but moved on quickly after realizing it wasn't satire. I returned when he slaughtered fun size Felicia. Watched a bit of that saga play out and then came back during the pandemic. I guess Josh was a better dumpster fire to watch when compared to the rest of 2020.

Not sure if it's the DankNet video, the pandemic, or maybe it's just Josh's antics are growing exponentially as well...

I don't blame DankNet for everything, but that video was the pushing of the snowball down the hill. Once he started attracting that kind of attention it got out of hand quickly.

I remember once the pandemic hit, I was running out of "lolcow" content and I found Cobes.
Then the whole Chris Chan is an Innmate saga started. People were drawn to KF, got tired of Chris stuff and wanted to find a cow they could milk in real time and found Josh

Jord has actually had spikes in popularity here and there over the years, it just tends to fall off almost completely when he goes a few weeks without activity. In a way it's served to keep the weens away; when he's really rolling he seems like he's going to be an immediate source of explosive reactions, but when you're all settled in for big sagas and end up with weeks worth of jender relayshuns rants, it tends to filter out the weak willed.

A lot of the real humor of Jord is how the comedy compounds over time. A lot of things aren’t funny unless you’re so familiar with Josh that you can catch his contradictory statements, can poke holes in his own lore etc.

Funny you should mention the holes in the wall because that's something Josh does on a blue moon. Forget the video but he remarked one time that he flipped out and smashed his head into the bathroom wall, put a bunch of holes in it. They had to come in and repair them prior to him leaving.

Don't know how the fuck he did this but he's managed to put a hole in his old ceiling.

Edit: I totally forgot about this one but now that I recall, he actually blasted a hole through his chair sometime in 2017 too. I forget why but I wanna say it was because he was angry about not having a job and something to do with his goatee.
