Lolcow KingCobraJFS / Josh Saunders - Amateur musician, YouTube Streamer, wandmaker, and self-proclaimed "sexy goth badboy". Perpetually circling the drain.

What do you suppose Clint do, seriously? Josh is a 30 year old adult. He is a full grown man and has a certain autonomy.
Plus his ingrained defiance would make any plans an absolute nightmare.
A tragedy will happen and things will change (legally, most likely), or nothing will change for the foreseeable future.
I have no inclination to interfere, mainly because it's none of our place, but because simply put you can't help those who don't want help.
Josh doesn't want help. It is what it is toobz.
I mostly agree with you but I think Clint should take away his gun for a while. It's not an unusual thing to expect a family member to do either if there is a concern that him having it could do himself or someone else harm

I agree, the gun can be removed entirely. He doesn't need it and he is far from the "responsible gun owner" he describes himself as.

Other than that, the "big" fixes his trolls want are pipe dreams. They also are going to destroy any forward success he has, as they have done to him in the past.

yeah I'm not for interference either, no matter what happens. I'm just saying that were I Josh's father I feel like I would have a hard time letting this go on like it has for 30 years. I'm not sure what Clint should do but, to be fair, I am uninformed as to what options there are and whether there truly are any (legal) ones. Also, if you really believe there is nothing Clint can do, why even bother reprimanding Josh? And whether or not Josh wants help at the moment and hasn't up until now, I'm still hoping for a good outcome for him, although I admit that may be unrealistic

You have to remember that Clint has two other children that are, I believe, actual young kids. Do I think Clint has mishandled raising Josh and letting him out into the wild? Yeah. But it's damn hard to realistically armchair parent a guy like Josh unless you've been in Clint's unenviable position. Also as an aside, Clint seems to be a bit of a lolcow himself.

I think Clint really wants Josh to be normal. I think he is still a bit delusional himself, because he doesn’t want to have to take care of his child the rest of his life. I mean, at this rate what do we all predict will happen to cobra? Death. I mean that’s the main prediction of how this will end. I think he’s waiting for cobra to get arrested or in the hospital to make a change. I wish cobra could handle living on his own too, but he consistently getting taken advantage of and is extremely depressed. His psychological state is a MESS right now. Clint is choosing to look the other way, because acknowledging this means he has accepted defeat with his son being special needs. I do not envy Clint, thing is he could have done with more that could have cobra on a much better path. I don’t think they are poor by any means, so they could afford to have someone give cobra guidance. Does he even check in on his sons live streams? What about his sisters? Aren’t they aware of this all?

The time for a meaningful intervention was before he turned 15. There's only so much you can do, though, because Cobes is allowed to make his own choices. I think at this rate the only way to get him to comply is bribery. Dad's gotta supply more strings-attached Clintbux than cobes gets from weens. His boglim brain won't understand anything else.

I'm not surprised he has a gun with how dicey things are in his area.
I always found the fact that he used BB hand pumped rifles for self defense hilarious, and that he gives away BB guns so that others can use it in home defense. In his old place there is a video talking about how "if someone broke in" that he was ready with his BB gun, and his shotgun was the backup. He will be lucky if it goes through the intruder's jacket. He did have a CO2 powered BB rifle which sounded like it could do some damage but I have not seen that since 2015.

The BB gun he was going to "saw the barrel off" of. But after talking about it forever, he finally just cut the stock off the rifle.

I think they were new. He holds them up from the front and they are still red and intact. Normally a spent shell will be open on that end and a little deformed after being used.

Our Dark Lord has owned that shotgun since the Wendy's Days. Even paid 420 for it! He probably lied about the total price. He is not going to kill himself or any neighbors so calm down. Shit optics though.

There is never going to be a Clintervention. Even if Clint wanted to do so, he is a borderline cow himself. Have you seen his photography or listened to him?
