I'll give him this in that I genuinely believe he's not attracted to children, but he is so far away from being able to speak and articulate ideas like an adult, that he simply believes "I can't even take them to bars!" being one of the first reasons for not targeting kids just makes the most rational sense from one adult to another. Like bars and drinking "is what us big people do, and well if I can't do that with them, then OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't go out with one!"

It's such an interesting topic, because there's not just one singular reason why he feels the need to tell people "I hate child molesters and rapists" despite the fact that it goes without saying. He knows it goes without saying and he's said that before, he reiterates it often because;

1. He looks like a creepy weirdo, he knows that. He's said shit like "I know I look like a creepy guy but I make creepy look good, toobs." He doesn't want people to think that because of his appearance, he'll follow it up with the associated behaviour.
2. That subreddit constantly insists he is and he's trying to fight a narrative.
3. Some of his personal friends have personally fallen victim to these things. Summer had mentioned she was sexually assaulted (Though who knows if that's true) and I think one his other friends has suffered from it. It's hard to tell from how he behaves today, but there's a really good part of Josh that cares about his friends in a big way.

Yea I don't think he is a nonce or has noncy tendincys but I do think that if someone sent him nudes and they where over 16 years old but under 18 he wouldn't notice that they are not 18 and could land himself in trouble that way - He does have a genuine repulsion to the idea of Younger people and will do his best to avoid it.

I do think he has got some comments in the past about about looking Creepy or Strange from enough people he trys to project that he's not that way (or thinks of himself as not like that) so he proclaims it all the time, and it doesnt help that people accuse him of it all the time to get a rise out of him.

I think the best way to understand Cobes is picture a very horny 13 year old with poor impulse control and very low self-esteem.
