Some context on the spice stuff since there was a bit of derail about it.
You can still get synthetic cannabanoids which what K2, Spice, and what Josh got-"Scooby Snax"-were, but like someone said they're limited to research chemical markets anymore and even then there's not much of a demand for them and it's not winding up on the street markets. The one thing that Trump signing the HEMP act-which through a loophole allowed for this market of non-THC-9 (the THC that is dominant in regular weed) to be sold and used legally-did was pretty much kill the market for synthetic noids. That's a good thing though since the blends and chemicals were so varied and created much different effects than regular weed. The government kept playing whack-a-mole with banning the different chemicals that just lead for producers changing to whatever slight variation was legal throughout time. There's a reason they were sold in head shops and some gas stations along with herbal viagra and such. Now smoke shops have popped up even more all across the US selling Delta-8 and other variations that are legal. It's easy for Josh to just go to a "dispensary" like a legal state, but just far less variety. Though the bag he flashed on screen recently at Walt & Angie's looked like a schwag bag of trim, I don't even know if that's a thing at these places, but in legal states with regular weed, that is the cheapest and lowest quality thing you can get.
We've seen Josh on spice and that's honestly one of the best outcomes for being on it, definitely didn't hit him like weed but he didn't get any serious adverse reactions. At least here in the US, spice/k2 etc. are cemented as a late 2000s-2010s drug that is best left to history. I do personally wonder about the long-term effects of these THC isomers though, since they only exist in very small quantities in most strains of regular THC-9 weed. The methods for extracting high yields of some of these variations are dangerous and in some cases end of lethal too. It would just be so much less of a headache to just legalize regular weed federally. The street market is flooded with Delta-9 distillate vape pens made from cheap parts and suspect fillers, but it's still classic weed that hits hard. Josh has always hated vaping though, originally claiming it was like inhaling anti-freeze, and seems to still prefer smoking despite vaping more than he used to. I guess that's why he's going for the cheap bag of Delta-8 trim for the most part, plus he blasted through those two Delta-8 vape pens that he did buy a month or so ago.
Spiced-out Josh was fun when it happened, but it's not coming back unfortunately. I've personally never been able to discern when he's high on regular weed, even in the videos were he is explicitly smoking it and flat-out says he's high, but then again he was a lot more lucid in general. Since Delta-8 and the like hit just like weak weed, it's even harder to discern. Nevermind the fact that he's always some level of drunk at all times anyway.
To underail this thread, it looks like Homegirl Angie got hit with a DUI last week according to the local news. Looks like it might be someone else.
