Breaking out of rock bottom takes self awareness and a want to improve. The dark lord has neither of these, the only thing stopping him from being a bum on the streets is Clint. Sadly, he has no drive and no desire to exist in society.

Do any of you Cobes OG's happen to know if he's ever been overly drunk on Thanksgiving like he was on his birthday? He seemed to be really hard-up for booze donations during tonight's stream. I wonder if he is desperate to pregame for tomorrow or do his parents just buy him a six-pack and hope that will suffice.

As funny as josh being barred from family events is (and it is very funny, esp that birthday stream and the aftermath), it's also really depressing. I wonder if Josh will be around anyone tomorrow

Now, I'll admit I'm a pinko socialist scum who is pro-social services that genuinely help the disabled, infirm, regarded, and so on but Clint is such a fucking scumbag with this. He's whining about taxes while actively scamming the government for SSI money for his gremlin child, not paying taxes on the non-donation "donations" the little rumplestiltskin makes, and being paid a salary from an at least partially government funded community college. Stop leeching and scamming from services while people who could actually use the services struggle to qualify so you can dump your child somewhere to ignore as he spends every last dollar on cigarettes and alcohol while you and your dual professor salary family take constant vacations.

A Kenyan Uber driver explained to me , the US govt gives you a loan. But you can only use the providers in their catalog. And everything is 10 times the price.

Josh qualified for some kind of government gibzmedat due to the govt. Not really a scam

I'm also pinko scum and generally dislike "muh taxes are paying for Cobes" line from most watchers (because your tax money to collectively help poor people is so miniscule compared to billionaire projects and other wasteful bullshit that you could more legit complain about allocation). I generally dislike most of the a-logging and common hate thrown ("get a job", dry spell, etc.) at Cobes, and I do find him really just detestable anymore so it's not like I like him. I'm just far too invested after watching this idiot for a decade, that I can't let go. The past three years or so have just been incredibly rough, it's crazy to me he's more popular than ever on the basis of old clips with his current lifestyle.

Anyway, it's a revealing side of Clint though since he acts fairly socially liberal, but he's lived most of his life in really Republican areas. It's just hypocritical since he can file separately anyway and his entire ability to climb financial and social strata was through his lawsuit. Without his stroke of bad luck hitting into that truck, he might have not had the opportunities he did.

I always thought it would be rich if Josh somehow had the same fate. Something happens to Josh to trigger a lawsuit from the Saunders and Josh falling back asswards into a large sum of cash. Not quite the lottery win he always talks about, but it'd be a very interesting life twist for sure.

Also, Josh isn't close to rock bottom. Rock bottom would involve Clint and Tanis not being around anymore and him entering a group home or the streets and not receiving money from pay pigs. He's making more money than any job he's had before, he's not solely drinking for alcoholic content per dollar. His teeth are fucked though according to /r/dentistry's dentists. They said for sure the front four aren't salvageable.

I don't understand why Josh isn't on EBT with his SSI money. I still hold out hope too that come April, Clint is going to get angry with Josh over making too much money and that acts as a catalyst for something to change in Josh's life one way or another.

Yeah, a lot of federal and state social programs are unbelievably inefficient, unfortunately. The scam is that Josh shouldn't have qualified without what is probably intentionally not reporting paypal tips on Clint's part. I won't speak for his month-to-month earnings, but there are absolutely months where between all of his various money making schemes and fan/troll tips Cobes makes above the pittance SSI allows before they cut you off.

Oh absolutely. Any random persons taxes is more likely to have gone towards 1% of a bomb than anywhere near SSI. I just hate Clints hypocrisy of hiding Cobes' income to get a portion of the meagre amounts of SSI available while bitching about how he has to pay taxes.

I'm not entirely sure about the requirements for EBT, but is it possible the Saunders family is too rich for Cobes to qualify? I assume Clint pays for the rent because the cost of rent plus how much he spent on alcohol and cigarettes and food would disqualify him from SSI, and he has to declare it. I think a dependent can be eligible for SSI but their EBT eligibility is based on the family's income?

To be fair to Clint for a second Josh has been doing YouTube since before Superchats where a thing and I don't think he ever mentioned being Monitised when it was as simple as "put your adsense ID into this box and click the button to enable add's", and I am guessing a good 60 - 70% of his donations are charged back the next day.

Plus there might be something to the idea that Clint doesn't know how much Josh is getting in donations as he has changed his email adress a few times and Clint might not have access to his PayPal so can't see exactly how much Josh is making.

As long as paypigs and family members continue to put funds into his account he will never change. He has no reason to, he's full on deluded thinking he's a rich celebrity that has made it. As long as he can fire up that computer, arms crossed, grumpy face on, and eat some shit a fan sent him to get his account out of the negative he will continue to kill himself slowly. He needs dental care immiedately, I wouldn't be surprised between the booze and his teeth if he doesn't die on stream in the next 5 years tops.

Didn’t they even buy alcohol for him last family gathering? I feel it was more they feared he would have withdrawals than trying to have a good time. I have no clue how they can stand by and just watch him fall apart over the years. Probably a lot of shit going on in background we don’t know about but still rough to watch a family member circle the drain.

I wonder if he ‘hacks’ shit while in public off camera?
