His alcoholism and autism are one thing, but not being able to step in for schizophrenia? The man already does Cobes taxes, I find it hard to believe he doesn't have the leverage to do anything.
It might be a legal thing, Josh is deemed that he needs limmited supervision but it stops short of having full medical control - I know it's not the same location but I know someone here in the UK who's got a social worker but for a few specific tasks like paying Rent, Food, Bills etc but that's it beyond normal reporting requirements and it wouldnt shock me if Clint was doing something like that.
Josh is a bit like Chris before his arrow was stuck in a Barb, he's legally considered
unable but not
incapable legally speaking, so he gets some support like his "Tax Refund" (and I swear that's something so blue he's deeply red Clint said an he's just picked up on it without getting it) and supervision of some more serious legal affairs.
The sad reality is neither of them get the level of help they need and should get, but Josh has a level of support Chris never had (and a level of self awareness) but I think Josh will crash harder than Chris not through a crime exactly but through his own self destructive behaviour, picture him and a methed out flor lord having a slap fight again but floor lord managed to smsh him with a bottle, killink him or making him even worse with some disability like getting blinded, disfigured etc, or him getting so drink he falls smashes his head and gets a head injury etc.
It could be even more benign (for lack of a better term) and just become so incapable through just general boglim decay and gets made homeless once Clints not able to bail him out and his sisters have washed there hands of him, he can't just escape reality and reprocutions anymore and shit gets very much more serious over night for him.
Before anyone steps in to try and force him into some form of more managed care or strict living situation, so clints hopeful but helpless to step in as much as he should be able to.
