I wonder how much of that is a compulsion to avoid some form of isolation he feels vs a need to show off, I mean he wants to advertise to the world nearly everything he does short of sitting on the bog and announcing he's about to crown (well OK most of the time) but he has a need to share his location when he's going some place slightly more interesting than the corner store.

Think about it for a second even your most online non cow doesnt advertise every time they cross the threshold as much as Cobes, the most you'll do as a normal humanbeing is something like "Love I'm going the shop for some fags, need anything?" you wont set up a stream to follow your shuffle to the shop, your 10 minutes of mixing various libations together and then a grump stream post event.

He knows he gains undesirable attention to himself, he carry's on doing it despite it never once bringing him something positive... Hell when he records and not streams he get's made fun off, noticeably so.

If only he knew. If only the poster makers knew. That poster has unleashed the unholy goth bad boy we know today. My man has lived his life by the tenants of that poster. Gothic-ness, motorcycle aesthetic without actually riding one, and bad-boy rebel spirit to not do what big toothpaste tells you. I’m sure whoever took the picture for that poster has languished in obscurity while its subject has helped to forge the most famous YouTuber Casper WY has ever seen. Funny how life works.

I really never stop to consider pivotal moments in other people's lives but this is one that just cracks me up. Out of all of the events in his life up to that point, going to the photoshoot was the most profound.

Yeah it really is depressing he doesn't even ride his bike anymore we are probably missing out on a lot of tomfoolery and shenanigans that would happen if he left his houae more
Do you think he stopped going out because of Covid/lockdowns and just never readjusted or do you think he's just older and more depressed now I'm sure the drinking is something to consider to but I dont know if his drinking habit has been this bad consistently or if it's only gotten bad in the past year or two

Let’s say a big time record company comes along and gives cobra a multi album contract or an adult swim hit show. A bunch of money that gets him off his ssi. Realistically what do you guys think happens? A giant bell tower with an accompanying construction fiasco? Would it get built or would he be back to broke in 2 years? Would he abandon his YouTube channel? Would Clint not being able to manage life for cobra lead him further down a path of destruction with booze and drugs? My bet is on an overdose from some research chemical he gets off one of his new scummy hangers on.

As much as I like Josh I’d be the first to admit giving him fame and financial freedom would end disastrously. I could see him eating cereal with Jack Daniels instead of milk because he heard about Ozzy Osbourne doing it or something. If he had a well meaning, true and honest wrangler to micro manage him it’d go a lot better.

IRC Clint took Josh along for a Photo Shoot and it was the one where he got a photo Josh has on his all of a rather nice Chopper and it's been sighted by Josh as what sent him down the Sexy Goth Bad Boy path. He's claimed the same about a Pickup truck once as well so i'm unsure if he's blending the story or changing it outright.

Whatever you're imagining, it's almost definitely more mundane than that.

For guys like Cobra who fall into money nowadays, generally they don't get to even spend it on anything you ever see because they'll get ripped off for almost all of it. It'll all be either given away to freeloaders or spent blindly "investing" in things that will never pan out.

He already had however many fucking weirdos just hanging out on his couch in the past, even just having an apartment has led to him being taken advantage of repeatedly. If he had millions of dollars, he'd be back to about broke again within probably 8 months to a year. It wouldn't even be exciting.
