The intro makes me ask a question, in the US is it not possible to have a bank account that doesn't allow for Overdrafts? I've got 3 accounts 1 savings, 1 main and 1 for billing savings is self explanatory, the main account is an account that I can get over drawn on if I have to and it's set up to take money from my savings right away if needed and the one I use for Ebay, Etsy, Amazon other regular bills etc can't be over drawn.

If it is possible I'm a but miffed that Clint would let Josh or Help him fill out the application (there is no way he could do it on his own) or is he talking about some other weird kind of serivce like Paypal and he's talking about it as a bank account like his SSI being a Tax Return.

to my knowledge there are some banks that allow for you to opt out of overdraft all together, so your card will just get declined when you run out of money

I couldn't find the podcast that Cobes mentioned, but a few weeks earlier he did say he talked to some local Casperites who wanted him on their podcast called 3 Wheel Bicycle Podcast. However, nothing with Josh on their page.

He is notoriously difficult to commit to any podcast especially more recently with more people trying to reach out to him. If he it isn't local and provides booze or he's not getting paid, he ain't doing it anymore.

Off the top of my head, he was on fan/troll Van Wayward's podcast after he was paid. Earlier on, he was on Creepercast quite a bit for a while and did a couple interviews with Tommync2010 too for free.

How it normaly works in the UK an EU is you apply for a bank account and it's a basic account with no overdraft or credit and if you qualify for a OD you can take it or not, I've got a Emergency Credit Card that I don't use unless it's god damned serious apart from a pack of fags a months just to keep it active that I pay off in full before the bills due, and I've capped my unplanned spending about half of my monthly income on it but I can call and authorise or pre-auth far larger.

I think this kinda talks more towards cultural spending differences than anything else, kinda interesting really.

The more a Read that "Goth" line in cobes context I have to start wondering if this isn't just a differance between Euro Goth and American Goth, honestly what 95% of you guys call goth is barely metalhead here. I don't want to get into the never ending symantics here but Josh has never classified in dress or style as Goth he's always been a Nuagers maybe Nuager / 1st bread emo but that's about it

A fan shipped it. Fans have shipped him kratom in various forms (powder, vapes, pills) throughout the years.

It's a divisive substance. On one hand, it does help people kick worst addictions and is far less bad overall to one's health than most drugs. On the other hand, it is addictive and works on opioid receptors. If one can keep perspective, not binge, maintain lower dosages, etc., it seems to be useful but that is difficult for people, let alone someone like Josh. It has paradoxical properties, in lower dosages it is more stimulating; in higher dosages, it is more sedating. At least he seems aware of the potential danger.

It's all over headshops, smoke shops, gas stations, etc. in most of the US. Some states and cities have banned it though.

There's definitely a divide between the US/Euro goths. But Josh is barely a mall goth at best. His definition of goth is some combo of 80s metalhead and mall goth (shopping at Hot Topic, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, etc.)

He isn't goth in the US either, its just "goth" has become one of those nebulous terms that gets thrown around when dealing with anything alernative/dark.

He's a metalhead, pretty entry level at that. Has he ever namedropped anyone other than Ozzy and Cradle of Filth? Dio once. He wore a Judas Priest shirt once, does he even listen to them? I know he rocked a Venom one without knowing who they are.

edit: nothing wrong with being a metalhead either, I'm one. Its just people with actual music knowledge understand the genres aren't the same. But, this is Cobes we're talking about. Understanding isn't exactly in his wheelhouse.

edit 2 because I'm regarded: wigonhead isn't goth in the slightest. She just wears heavy eyeliner and wears a dark wig. She's a guidette still cosplaying as Boxxy in the year 2023.

No. While not a true opiate, it does work on the same center of the brain as heroin. He has zero self control and will be effectively dope sick within a a few months. Given his choice in company, Cobes could easily have a needle in his arm within a year.

A more subtle fate than alcoholic hepatitis or pancreatic cancer but just as devastating

I once spoke to a guy from that 3WB podcast when he approached me saying that he was a Casper local and had interesting stories about Josh. I can't remember what name he gave me, but research indicates he might be the one called "Stevie" in the group. The notable stuff I can remember includes:

-He will see Josh walking around in the wild and offer him rides. Josh seldom talks during.
-While at an art show, he met Clint and asked about Josh in a roundabout way. Clint gave a very surface level response about how Josh struggles, that he's proud of him, etc.
-When encountering Josh, he would regularly propose that they work together so that he could provide a better camera to film with; he also wanted to edit down Josh's videos. Josh would always respond with something like "hell yeah" but was essentially brushing him off.

This guy (POSSIBLY "Stevie," sorry) showed me the 3WB podcast channel, the usual promotion I guess you'd expect.
We wrapped things up pretty quick since the actual stories he had were underwhelming, and I wasn't crazy about his big plans for Josh's channel. If that Van Wayward guy is any indication, Josh can eventually appear on your show if you pressure him over several months and offer money. Despite all that effort, there's no guarantee it's going to be worth watching.

For those curious, here's 3WB's youtube, however they appear to have abandoned the platform to stream on facebook live (???).
Van Wayward's interview, painful to watch. He pressured Cobra for months only to piss him off with blatant troll questions, resulting in very plain answers and Cobra turning his camera off. There's a ton of heckling in live chat.

That's possible, a local guy would make sense.

I feel bad for whoever has to organize anything with Josh though, I don't think people understand how horrible he is when it comes to doing simple, rudimentary shit and taking simple instruction. Homeboy Robbie is a good example of that, I remember when Robbie was walking Josh through setting up the DTTS framework, he'd message me and tell me that it's like pulling teeth to get him to simply download and install OBS/Streamlabs, nevermind the literal weeks and weeks it took to get him to set it up. Then Robbie would have to watch the streams to make sure Josh wasn't fucking with it, which he was, ultimately bricking it two-three times and they'd have to go through the whole fuckin' process all over again at 3 AM.

There weren't many things that could convince me Josh was unemployable, but that was the one that did. He cannot follow the most simple instructions and he is pathologically hellbent on "customizing" the experience with his own retarded spin on it.

Some “fan” got him it thinking he will act high on it. Kratom, in high doses, can fires off the opioids receptors and acts like a mild opioid. Some opioid addicts use it to help them. I can see why cobra is using it. However, he needs a high “dose” for it to work like an opioid. Right now, it’s just his him thinking he’s high.
