I absolutely adore the guy. I 100% do not consider him a cow in the sense that I do the other people here. As I have said way earlier in this thread, there is an endearing qaulity to him that legitimately draws me to him as a fan. He makes me laugh, and I more often than not, leave this thread happier than I did going into it.

Yes, he says or recounts some things that make me go wtf for a moment, (the baby bird incident or more currently the disabled girl) but in my mind, I can account to them either being him: legitimately acting autistic and not really thinking things through, telling exaggerations of what happened for goth bad boy points, or honestly doing what he thought was the very best things in a situation (ex the bird)

I honestly just wish the best for him. It does upset me sometimes to see him self destruct, and I have alot of sympathy for people dealing with dental pain and issues, so in those aspects I wish I could somehow pozload my neghole and help him, but I know that is a fruitless endeavor.

TL : DR I legitimately like Cobes. I wish he would clean up his life just 10% for his health if nothing else but he is not at all like any of the other cows here.

I genuinely do like cobra. Well the cobra that started at the beginning of his YouTube journey. Sure I laughed at him and his “magic” and delusions of grandeur but I rooted for him. But now looking at what he’s become you almost wouldn’t believe it’s the same person. More than anything I wish he’d get serious about life and his alcoholism. It’s getting old watching him drink himself to death.

I've been watching Cobra since the 52 channel. My thoughts about him are more negative than positive, but it mostly has to do with watching a man's decline into madness and addiction over a decade or whatever. Why is this my entertainment?

I've been watching him for a decade.

I started watching him recognizing some dumb traits in myself a bit, but obviously much more mentally handicapped. He was uploading fairly regularly, so I subbed and casually watched him in the background since there were some really funny inadvertent moments in most videos.

There weren't any communities discussing him outside the odd post to 4chan, Reddit, etc. that never picked up much traction. I think the first place he started getting a dedicated discussion was a place called the B9 forum or something. I remember looking and that was the only place for a while that would show up, but I never joined. Once he got more traction, like the first subreddit being made, more posts around with other people getting curious, it was enjoyable. A fairly small group that didn't get autistic about him, made some clips, didn't really congregate together.

He was making some progress in life, while still keeping a slow flow of funny moments.

I started doing some little edits of clips to learn how to use Premiere Pro. My first edit I posted in May 2013. Nothing great and I haven't done any edits in years, but still follow Josh. I'm too invested to completely stop watching him.

He used to be likable, but I'm of the opinion with most of the long-time watchers that he absolutely fell off about three years ago. The drinking and gender relations outrage rants taking up nearly all the content has made things terrible. It just makes him really detestable and the ability to overlook his past faults harder to forgive or ignore. I don't hate watch, but I'm obviously not thrilled with the overall change from light trolling him that didn't cause any harm to paypigs funding his death. He still does funny things, but it's just a lot different than it was even three years ago when he wasn't much of a secret anymore.

I love the little retard. He's (mostly) harmless, not an awful person. Not like most of the cows. I miss the old, hopeful young man I first encountered when I started watching him years ago. Bright, full of life and hope for the future, taking responsibility. It's really hard to see what he's become, but I still hold out hope that this little goofball will stop and restore some of who who was.

I do most of my Cobes-watching elsewhere, but I don't hate the guy at all. He's not a bad person unlike 95% of the people we watch, he's just a retard and an addict. He's extremely naive and has that same retard ego that Cyrax has where he's too dim to realise what a loser he is. But Cyrax is a total scumbag, and Cobes isn't.

It's less and less fun to watch him as time goes by. Partly because of all the unfunny weens fucking with him, but mostly because it's not entertaining to watch someone slowly drink himself to death. At this rate he won't last another decade and I reckon he'll have a serious health event (stroke, heart attack, serious accident while drunk) within the next year. At that point Clint will have to have him cared for because he won't be able to regain his independence, which is a shame for everyone - for Josh, for Clint, and for us, whether we want to see him succeed or just laugh at his pratfalls. Like Lucas Werner, the ride may be over soon, and, as someone who has followed the Wern for a while, it's a kind of empty feeling to see a cow's health curtail their output - doubly so for Cobes, because Wern is a psycho but Cobes is a loveable idiot.

I think the vast majority of people, including my biased self, legitimately like him. I think he is the most liked person to have a thread on here. He seems like a really hard guy to hate in general. The worst thing he's ever done (probably) is cheat on his ex Stephanie and he seems genuinely remorseful and owns the fact that he fucked it up.


We love the guy. Most people aren't mad at him, just disappointed sometimes.


Plus he's just fucking badass. Can't look at this gothic wizard rockstar and not just love him.

EDIT: We also REALLY want him to take care of his teeth and not drink himself to death too quickly. Honestly his teeth can make him hard to watch. I shudder a little sometimes when I watch him drink soda and eat garbage. There's no way his mouth doesn't hurt; his teeth are dying.

I definitely was not a fan during the time he was uploading short videos and fart videos all day every day.

I think this is why Cobes is my favorite lolcow. If you follow a cow like DSP for example who actively scams his physically disabled fanbase out of money you can laugh at him but at the end of the day you know he's a deplorable piece of shit. Cobes isn't like that. He has an ego problem and is a creepy dude but he's also goof and lovable in that endearing retard sort of way. I want to see Josh do better. I can't say same the same for ADF, Cyrax, Shmorky, Ethan Ralph etc etc. It's a unique trait he has within the lolcow community.
