It has to do with ssi rules. Ssi after certain disregards, takes a dollar for every two made. Donations count against ssi, so do gifts cards etc. not reporting this means his check hasn’t been adjusted properly every month, so he will have a big overpayment on his record.

The ssa rarely prosecutes fraud. The oig (ssa fraud unit) only investigates cases where there’s ample evidence of fraud, and in big numbers. They will want their money back but 99.99 percent of the time, the ssa just enacts a payment plan.

I hope Clint just gets his paypal login and does it for him. You can get a 1099-K from paypal pretty easily with exact numbers. While it's true that the IRS really doesn't have the energy or resources to care that much if low income people misreport something here or there, I can see it potentially coming into conflict with his tugboat, since a lot of those programs are predicated on someone being unable to derive an income.
 
It just dawned on me that he spends up to 4+ hours literally talking to himself. He doesn't interact with chat, doesn't have guests (that often), and is just squinting at the computer screen talking to himself. Says a lot about his mental health and sure in fuck doesn't help it

They very rarely prosecute fraud unless it's serious and obviously deliberate. This guy is such a complete sped they'd probably let him off with a payment plan, and as far as I've seen, even if it's for a huge overpayment, they usually just take a small amount out of each check you're still entitled to.

They will look carefully at you in the future though because many recipients will pull stunts like this repeatedly, and so will this assclown.

Question if I may, say they did let him off with a slap on the wrist and then there was some spastic paypig who paid him something like $500 a month an never charged it back and they found out about it, would they then go after him retroactively for the back payments in total or just from when he got slapped on the wrist if he was on a payment plan?

Here in the UK the rule is overpayments can be reclaimed unless they cause "A great hardship" and 90% it does so they sanction you for a month an lose your benefits, but if you've been playing the system i.e. saying your so disabled you can't work but then get caught on video working a job (an they do checks an stings regularly) and they will go after you for all the money you where not entitled to since but got paid from when they suspect you could work, a big fine and some time's prison time if it was outright fraud and not a mistake.

Would that be the process or close to it anyway for Josh?

The ssa has special rules about overpayments. And yes they can collect overpayments from years ago, there’s no limit as to how far back they can go.

The ssa has overpayment waivers, which do not have to be granted. Filling it out doesn’t mean you’re off the hook. To be granted a waiver, you must show it was not your fault and you cannot afford to pay it back. But again….the ssa does not have to grant it, and rarely do.

Failing to report income on ssi is a very basic rule and one could argue cobes isn’t smart enough to know that’ll but his rep payee is Clint, and Clint will be responsible for it.

Follow up if you don't mind - Do they give you a list or notify you in changes of what you need to report when your a Payee? like a booklet "So your a Tard Guard" and it lists out what you have to do an what you need to report?

Yea I saw that and man even for him that was a loop, he seems to get a group obsession an then there is one sub topic he has to constantly reaffirm, I mean it's one thing to really hanker after something - I mean my Fiancee loves my Dad's Beef Wellington and on the way to theres we talked about a fantasy sunday dinner, Your Dads Wellington, Your Mums Mustard Mash, Your Sisters Mushroom an Onion gravy, with Bread from that Bakery, etc...


But that's not what he's doing he's got an obsession not with certain types of foods but SPECIFIC foods, It's almost like he's a Kid and this is his big Birthday trip out but if you dig a little deeper it's more basic than that, he is seeking experience that he's lost now and he is wishing for that memory of the last good time he had it,

He wants to go back to a time when a Pizza any Pizza was good, cheesy an meaty before he had to pay for it himself, he wants a Burger that seemed as big as his head and was awesome and he's not getting that rush now so is adding more an more shit to try and recapture that feeling of contentment in some way that he doesn't realise he's missing.

It's like his drink an drug use, if you look at it and how he describes feeling he's chasing a buzz not oblivion but he's by now far past that point and is chasing something he can no longer feel, he's chasing a mental and emotional state he can no longer experiance but can't understand the link between the constant chase and the over abuse of his senses.

Also it looks like he finally changed his shirt. I still think someone should find the zombie shirt and send it to him. Cobes has been in loops before but god damn, that was a hell of a loop. That might be one of his most "Cobes" stream in awhile. Perfect amount of drunk but not too wasted that he is just mumbling to himself. We even got a "it's 6PM, after 5, so fuck the trolls". He really puts a lot of stake in the 5PM drinking rule. Who is he fooling with that besides himself? He has admitted on stream before that he leaves a drink next to his bed so he can drink when he wakes up so I'm not really sure why he continues to hammer home the 5PM rule like he sticks to it. Is it really just him trying to make himself feel better or something?

This whole vid feels a lot like psychosis. Like, there may be a an invisible clockwork elf(troll) sitting beside him continually asking him "what's wrong buddy? Why you so down buddy? Feed me a kitten buddy" and he's so deep in it that the inprobability never occurs to him.

It's a quick loop too, almost manic. I'd say that duster causes psychosis but so does organic dain bramage... as well as schizophrenia. It could be any one, or any combination of, all these things and more. What we can say for sure is, that boy ain't right. And that that gawf doodt smells...
