Done a fair amount of brewing myself, now if he was using some of the extremely hardy and aggressive yeasts designed for brewing(EC1118 for example), contamination isn't much of an issue because those yeasts will kick the living shit out of any competing microbes. However with the yeast he's using, there's really good odds there's a variety of things going on in that bottle for the reasons you mention.

From what I've seen personally cobes has and is continuing to blow up in normie circles, I've been "introduced" to cobes clips 5 different times from people ranging from mid 20s to 30s. Every time I ask them if they watch the streams or if they know about puff, shon, other cobes shit they either don't know or only watch clips and think it's all a bit. Once josh spergs out and leaks donator info again I have no doubt that all the clip tiktoks will have warnings not to donate to him.
The worst part is when they come on stream and toss him money trying to get something out of him. Asking him questions, asking if he'll do X, ask him to listen to or watch something, etc. They don't understand that you aren't gonna get anything out of him.
