Him having seizures

About two minutes into this you can see he’s been having these issues for a while. The videos says it’s DTs but I’m pretty sure it’s something else. His whole ‘failed to write’ shit struck me as something serious a way back.

With him it’s hard to tell if it’s something he’s had for a while or a new development. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s had these for years before streaming with his shitty genetic luck of the dice

Yeah those aren't the DTs. You have to have quit alcohol to get the DTs, for a start. At least 48 hours after the last drink, often more. I doubt he's gone more than a day without booze for years at this rate.

That twitch/palsy on the side of his mouth/eye is a definite sign of neurological damage. Something is making his facial nerves spaz out. It could be damage to the nerves themselves or more general damage to the brain. Cross-reference where his twitches are to where the facial nerves and muscles are - given that it's both his eyes and mouth that are spasming, either the damage is to the nerves quite early in the branching pattern, or it's just the entire brain.

A friend of mine presented at his GP with a similar palsy on the side of his mouth and eye and was immediately rushed to hospital. Turns out he had severe intercranial hypertension, essentially his spinal fluid was under such pressure it was crushing his brain.

He seems confused for a second after it happens, so my money's on absence seizures with mild clonic components. Compare that video to Wikipedia's description:

The clinical manifestations of absence seizures vary significantly among patients.[9][10][11] Impairment of consciousness is the essential symptom, and may be the only clinical symptom, but this can be combined with other manifestations. The hallmark of the absence seizures is abrupt and sudden-onset impairment of consciousness, interruption of ongoing activities, a blank stare, possibly a brief upward rotation of the eyes. If the patient is speaking, speech is slowed or interrupted; if walking, they stand transfixed; if eating, the food will stop on its way to the mouth. Usually, the patient will be unresponsive when addressed. In some cases, attacks are aborted when the patient is called. It's entirely possible he had problems before, as you say his genetics aren't exactly those of an Ubermensch. When you attack your entire body with poisons like alcohol and solvents, the weakest parts are the ones that will malfunction first.

The teeth situation could also be here. If he keeps letting them rot he's going to eventually have to get them pulled. That's not inherently disabling on its own (he'd probably just have to get dentures) but judging by how he treats his real teeth he probably would do the same things with the dentures (not take them out to clean, not wash out his mouth, etc.) that could lead to stomatitis or other, unrelated illnesses. Not necessarily something that would kill him just something that would chip away at his already declining health.

Jesus. The guy who sent him the duster should be put in jail. He included a note encouraging Cobes to huff it.

You guys keep talking about DTs so I stared reading this:
I don't think our boy has DTs HOWEVER:

Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) is a close differential diagnosis of DT, given the presence of altered sensorium and tremor. However, delirium in HE is usually hypoactive i.e., patients are mostly drowsy and retarded (as opposed to aroused and agitated in DT) and tremors are only visible at hands (flapping tremors) in a particular position (as opposed to whole body tremor in DT).

Could be also what Spunt said earlier.

It’s hard to play armchair doctor with Cobes. He does so much stupid shit off cameras it’s impossible to tell if he’s blasted on pills, huffing paint, or just drunk and retarded.

I do think his teeth are in extreme pain. If you notice he even eats only on one side of his mouth if he can help it ans doesn’t really chew as in just smooshes it slowly.

I wonder Clint watches he proud baby boy’s videos.

Yeah but it feels like he's forcing himself so much, that he can't even do the high-pitched Shon voice or the self-deprecating quips, it's like it's lost forever in the void now
 
Does anyone know of any other things Josh has claimed to be the creator of? I was watching some past videos of Josh, as you do, and saw him claiming to have came up with the term "race baiting" in reference to when Sharon Osbourne was accused of being racist. Recently he also claimed to come up with the term "keyboard coward". I'm sure he has done this in the past where he just repeats a term from some shitty YouTube he watches and then claims it's his own but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Would be pretty funny to see a list of everything he has claimed to have created.

It really does feel like he is doing a parody every time he interrupts his rambling with random guitar "shredding". Duster brain be damned, he is still one of the most unintentionally funny people on the internet.
I'm also assuming he has been reading the sub-Reddit again because he keep wiping his mouth to make sure he isn't drooling all over himself like he was in the last guitar video. It's insane how much he lets that page live rent free in his head.
