the thing with group homes as well is that even if you are retarded enough to be in one there are no promises they will let you in. there are plenty of homeless people roaming around with enough issues that they could also qualify for a group home but for one reason or another they did not make the cut.

well, group homes usually won't accept you unless you have some kind of income. that's why homeless people usually can't get into them. cobra can (for the most part) tbh, most of them are people who are very low functioning (70 below IQ and severely mentally ill). I mean paranoid schizophrenic. I believe cobra isn't there yet. honestly, cobra would get kicked out. he wouldn't be allowed to drink. if he were to get caught a lot, he would get kicked out. they will take most of his SSI (usually give you like 10 or 30 bucks each month) and force him to do chores. It isn't in him to act like a team player. He has always been selfish.

Asphyxiation is a relatively scary way to die knowing I head a near death experience over that throwing up. You cannot breathe through your nose with vomit stuck in your throat contrary to what many people say. Getting drunk a lot increases the chances by a lot. There are different kinds of alcoholic and Cobes is one of these alcoholics of convenience. He doesn’t need to pound mouthwash because he’s always financially able to sustain his addiction, he can put himself in the red and someone will always bail him out. He doesn’t need to drink straight liquor he will always prefer something mixed that tastes better because acquiring that is always within his means. Not too many alcoholics like this even exist because their alcoholism prohibits them from sustaining the addiction financially, they get fired very easily and they alienate everyone around them until they no longer have any support.

Definitely looks like a fifth and not the 1.5 liter bottle.

No way I could do that with whiskey (and the Jack hangover would be a nightmare) but when I was in my early 20s it'd be possible with vodka if I mixed it. 1 shot of 40% ABV liquor mixed with 12oz of mixer is only 5% ABV, or roughly 16 beers. 4 beers an hour is pretty heavy but doable if you have a tolerance to alcohol. Not recommended whatsoever for many reasons, but definitely doable.

Bear in mind Cobra spilled about a quarter of the bottle but also had some beers in addition to it, including the 9% Voodoo Ranger and also violated the "liquor before beer" rule which really fucked him up.

Its called jungle juice you put a gallon of Everclear in a garbage can (clean, unused, and of age) throw in a bunch of fruit and whatever juice you can get. Its actually pretty good but it will mess you up quick. Its quit common for bums (the name jungle is slang for a bum camp) and college parties. The bums can easily panhandle the cost of a bottle and use food stamps for the rest at college you buy a cup for 5 bucks at the door and drink as much as you can tolerate.

However, group homes have limited space and as we know, homelessness among the mentally ill is a massive problem since the 80s. Thus, they usually only accept the infirmed, not a middle-aged alcoholic fool.

Very much true. As a matter of a fact most group homes AUTOMATICALLY sign you up to EBT when you sign the intake paper work. You dont even get your cards. They keep everyones cards and use it to buy food for the home.

Yeah, Cobes would get kicked out of a group home or inpatient treatment for similar reasons that he got kicked out of Job Corps. One of his troles or paypigs would smuggle him in some spice or booze and he'd get fucked up and have a big spergout. He's too big of a teenage edgelord to behave himself for long.

This situation is frustrating because his father insists he’s a full grown, independent man and by most legal standards he is but he treats him like he’s a retard who can’t manage his own life. If he’s a full grown adult he’ll do fine, if he’s not he’ll need a caretaker that can actually help him unlike this bullshitter who thinks taking a seminar on tards is a full education to understanding aspergers and it’s unique challenges.
