17 minutes in he is at $106 in Superchats. I'll get a full count and edit this post in a few. People were concerned that after his $400+ haul a week ago, we would get less content. I am happy that they were wrong. Cobes isn't a smart person but he has to realize that he is able to make a lot of money by doing virtually nothing.

EDIT: Final tally was around $294 in Superchats for 76 minutes of streaming.

Townes Van Zandt might be a fair comparison. He was an addict throughout his life (booze/heroin/cocaine/whatever) but lived into his early 50s because he didn't always have the means to feed his addictions. He finally died of heart failure triggered by alcohol withdrawal.

If I'm remembering it right, earned income is only counted at 50% of the dollar amount for SSI purposes since they want to incentivize people to work. So he probably has some breathing room on his YouTube income and as long as it's reported accurately he can't be terminated, it just phases out at $0.50 on the dollar.

I don't think Clint would risk falsifying Cobra's tax returns for something like this but who knows.

Cobes is also legally blind, so he gets double the allowance for making money with SSI. So like 2100 is the max he can make a month before it impacts his SSI payment.

Considering he could make a shitload of money selling his stupid sticks, I guess the reason he doesn't is so he can collect all of the taxpayer's money for being an alcoholic retard on the internet?

Meanwhile people that are disabled and can't handle a job won't be able to get in because of one reason or another... Gotta love it.

If Josh simultaneously loses his SSI and Adsense, he's fucked. Selling his stupid wands would at best be a short-term "business".
