A praying mantis for a pet is pretty gothic. Hopefully it doesn't get smooshed during a drunken rant.
Do you guys think that Cobra could actually take care of a pet properly? I'm on the fence, but I think he could potentially be one of those people who cares far more for their pet's wellbeing than their own. And I think if he got a black cat that would be the gothic cherry on top. It might give him more structure and purpose. And it might even attract an of-age female TWU.
He'd more than likely just spill beer on it though.

I think a pet would be good for Cobes because he would have a purpose and if he had to walk a dog everyday he would at least get out of the apartment for more than just going to the liquor store but I can see him neglecting it because he keeps getting so drunk. I think he would manage something like a tarantula once someone explained the humidity and temperature the terrarium needs to be kept at to him. They need very little hands on care and it would be a pretty goth pet.

It would probably die of smoke inhalation. Otherwise it would die of alcohol poisoning due to Warlord and Cobes giving it beer during a sesh.

I cut the part where he started crying. Fuck mass shootings, fuck the current state of gender relations, fuck rape, and fuck that 9/11 ever happened.
I don't doubt his sincerity but good god almighty was him shoehorning trannybashing and screaming the gubmint "taking my gun from my cold dead hand!" in the middle of a genuine bawww surprisngly funny. Popp conditioning coming in nicely, tewbs.

For context, Josh was severely traumatized when his stepmother was in the same building when this happened and the media initially reported it as a mass shooting.

I don't think he's ready for a traditional pet yet, but the praying mantis is definitely a good start. Sure it'll probably die but a bug dying has a lot less oomf than a dog or a cat dying. I think he could work his way up to Tarantula and then hamster and probably larger animals after but they'd be hard to maintain in an apartment but not impossible. My roommate has a large German Shepherd and while he's a good boy, we gotta take him out pretty often. Cobes would definitely need to leave his apartment a few times out of the day depending on the breed he'd get. While a cat would be easier, we all know he's gonna let the litterbox go to absolute shit.

I think you both nailed it. He needs a bit of training before he can have a mammal as a pet.
Maybe the way he's doing it is right for him, though. Just call the bugs that inhabit your home pets.
