Well I wasn't paying attention in the slightest to who was taking thrones, and it looks like Caelum won. Congrats! Here I was thinking of going to war with you.

Thank you. In my opinion I got pretty lucky with how things developed around me. I was originally planning to wipe out TNN with Kailasa, but right as I prepped my armies and took my first throne (The Throne of Earth) TNN gave me a NAP contract.

I had at first rejected it but i revised my turn As I saw how close the other two thrones were. Initially I figured I could win by turn 21 which would be the fastest Ive ever won an Mp game (this still is previous fastest was turn 29). I had my prophet army go for the inner throne guarded by mages and assorted drakes, and my pretender army go for the water throne guarded by barbarians and kailasa sacreds.

Pretender won his throne handily with my large amount of archers but prophet routed, even though all but one of the enemy wizards was killed I failed to account for the wyverns killing my back row. I hurriedly claimed the throne of water and sent every mage I could with air gems and a ram shackle army back to the inner throne to capture it before anyone caught on.

The air elementals did the work and I had a Seraphine hiding and carrying more gems for what I thought would be the attempt from Xibalba to knock me off. I sunk in whatever gold i had and bout 70 pd which was a crappy militia poptype and hoped that I would be ok.

It was a spontaneous plan and like the wind I switched up and went for it. Guess it makes sense as my Gods title was the Lord of Spontaneity or something like that. This marks my first win in a Dominion 6 game.

Holy shit, very impressive, to score your win so quickly and decisively. Bravo. I was entirely focused on my war with Kailasa. Kind of mad at myself for letting my turn stale, but it is what it is. Also for a bird, you are fat as fuck with all of that territory

A simple bless for clearing chaff. I intended to use "dance of ephemeral blades" and "fire shield" to quickly clear chaff units. I used "Etherealness" because anyone with "Spirit Sight" would essentially cuck me out of glamor buffs.

Had some really bad trades with Kailasa, and it was ultimately my Ri's that carried me. To be fair I was only recruiting Firbolg troops. I think before I stalled, I had 40 troops at most, so if Kailasa decided to go mass ranged, I would've been screwed.

I JUST got a fat stack of red skin pajeets (Angiri or whatever they called) to fight the ghost elves, man what a fuckin downer

Edit: also you're gay for not killing elves with me. I need that to be expressly made clear.

I would recommend a more asymmetrical map as well in addition to more thrones points

Executor just released a new map it looks very nice, I'd like to cast my vote for something like that.

As I mentioned in my post it was really just a seize the moment type of deal.

@Ensi so when I was testing Caelum I had difficulty expanding because their armies are not the greatest, and I also had to avoid using the raptor units because it would be like cheating atm, not sure if todays patch fixed it but Raptor militias had anemone maces and the tankier raptor warriors had ring mail and basalt armor equipped.

Im also never a big fan of trampler expansions because it just costs a lot and feels worse in dom6 when there are more pd per indies. So I went for an awake ethereal bless which allowed me to expand decently with a pretender and ethereal sacred raptors. This I feel is definitely more necessary for EA Caelum who doesnt even have the easiest time being able to summon water mages for wolven winters (something I could had remedied but would cost me scales i need).

The plan from the beginning was to try and attack my nearest neighbor unprepared. I was very certain Id pounce on Sauromatia because I had two forts up before he finished one, but I made some mistakes clearing out indies and then Kailasa asked me to beat up TNN who was lankier anyway.

I guess Ill make a game soon since we did EA last lets do MA this time.

I’ll make one with Executors new map, please state what nation(s) you’d like to reserve. I am personally feeling up to playing either Ma Xibalba or Ind.

I've heard MA pyrene is shit so I am going go as them
 
MA and LA seem quite good for Pyrene, it's the EA they kinda suck since it's a thugging nat in a game where thugging and construction was so nerfed.
 
I am still up to play, I didnt post a new one since there was an apparent lack of interest.
