  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
Probably going to add a 'safe return' reward, since we just disposalled all the casualties once they were milked for all they were worth

Reactions: UAV - Pilot #7
As a status update, I'm now going to be focusing on fixing/finishing what I already added (finish med contract system, more engine fixes), and general quality of life improvements, as I have built up a truly massive backlog. After that maybe more new stuff idk.

I enjoy this codebase, mainly for the nostalgia though.. it reminds me of /TG/station before it became TransGender station.
I need to play it more, but lag is barrier of entry to me. I am too used to 0 latency singleplayer at this point I assume.

I'll try to hop on if you're not playing at ungodly times.

Maybe it will rekindle my love for SS13.
Pop events 24 hours after every MATI. ie 12 pm Saturday, 6pm Wednesday EST.

Just a couple of small things I've noticed while playing over the last week or so to add to the pile @geckogoy (bear in mind they might be caused by pure autism on my side and not actual code issues):
  • Building tables doesn't seem to function beyond being able to build a frame, trying to actually get a surface on it both doesn't appear in the sheet menu when you're selecting to build something (apparently 'table parts' is meant to show up in the build menu according to the 2015 wiki archives) and attempting to make various panels or just using the sheets themselves results in either "you can't plate the table frame with blah sheet", or "there's no surface to place item on". The one material I haven't tried is reinforced steel sheets as those from what I can see on the wiki again need to be smelted, no miners have been on when I'm around and I've yet to learn how to do that in order to fully test all materials, so if it can only be done with reinforced sheet my bad. This was attempted with steel, plastic, wood planks and plasteel sheets.
  • Attaching glass to a computer frame in order to make a monitor as the second to last step of contruction doesn't seem to work either. I've tested this while repairing broken computers, making a new one from scratch and detaching glass from a few working computers before trying to place it back in, none of them worked. Every other construction step up to the glass works fine, it's just adding/replacing glass that seems to fail.
Here's the wiki pages I'm looking over for reference, and a few screenshots of options from the sheets in game:

This is only slightly related but head re-attachment surgery is broken. At first I thought I was doing it wrong so I pulled up the guide and tried to follow the instructions to the letter.
1. Aim for the cadaver's head in the Damage Zone.
2. Use a retractor to peel back the flesh.
Nothing happened after I attempted to use the retractor. Head re-attachment surgery is necessary to clone someone who's lost his body.
