I have tried extensively, it is really not possible. Especially now that byond devs have added dependencies on Microsoft Edge. Your best bet is using a VM and having it only for byond.
You can use qemu with disk compression to get a disk of only 9 GB. Give windows 10 GB on installation.

I'm the capitilised Sneed, don't know who the other one is. Though it'll be pretty obvious which one is mine as the time suggestions are going to be fucked compared to the rest of you.
 
Depends what Gecko thinks all up. Imo the bird is really cute and should stay, it adds a nice touch
