I don't think The Troonening is at all possible without outside influences. Nobody just decides to start growing tits because they thought it was cool, and "lack of a comfort group/someone you trust away from Discord" is probably the primary determining factor. But this is for another thread, a thoroughly well-trod territory by now. He was unstable and very angry from what I've seen of him, but he also knew some things about coding, so people kept up with him. Like here. (A)From the little bit I knew about PJB back in the day he was just your normal mostly apolitical left leaning euro with milquetoast opinions, its still surprising to see just how far he went off the deep end. This has got me thinking, he has been taking troon juice (estrogen) and we can make the safe assumption some other pharmaceutical poisons for whatever real or imagined mental problems. Was this madness just sitting under the surface ready to come out or was his brain destroyed when he was groomed into taking troon juice or some other barely understood mental med. This is a question ive had about trannies for a while, obviously those who do troon aren't right to begin with but just how far out of bounds does any meds they take push them
Town of Salem is also pozzed. And, more importantly, not SS13 at all just like Among Us will never be SS13, nor any Werewolf-like. Trouble In Terrorist Town comes the closest with the amount of shit you can do, but it also lacks all the nuance. Stationeers isn't SS13, and TranSS14 isn't SS13. TranSS14 has no intention of actually replicating SS13 (its movement, bumping, etc. being a big part), so it cannot ever become SS13 unless a fork takes on the burden. Only SS13 is SS13 and, at this rate, it will stay that way, especially if OpenDream will remain non-functional. I could see if I can run Riviera on OpenDream – it should be largely functional due to being so simple compared even to TG, whose functionality is the stated focus of the project.Just play among us or Town of Salem at this point.
