I just like the consistency of tending to use the usual chemical vial stuff, a twist on it is cool i guess but special potion icons come across as snowflakey tbh

they are not actual reagent containers and it is the same method and file other codebases use, I'd like refactor all the xenobio shit into its own file but that seems out of scope for this change

slime core sprites are actually stored in the wrong part of the tree in mobs even though they are objects but they don't use any color overlays and have one sprite for each color.

Other than potions being in a proper place it's not but as far as gameplay goes it means you'd inject a core and get an identical looking item spawn.

The server is always up but it is a big map for one person i think it might be a good odea to invest in to a smaller map maby drectly contected to a larger asteroed so players could in very small groups play mine kill space beast on off hours

You can play /vg/ during weekdays, they play daily around the same time as we do during Saturdays. You can also just hop in the server, vote restart and play singleplayer if that's your thing, Riviera is online 24/7.

• AntagHUD doesn't distinguish between regular revs and headrevs;
• Medical HUD still doesn't update upon spessman's death and shows the last health state during the mob's life instead - for example, if someone cuts off a guy's head with an esword the medHUD will forever show their corpse in green or yellow health instead of being permanently dead;
• Revs' and nukeops' HUD letters (R and S respectively) need a serious rewrite to get rid of inconsistency issues;
• The roundend revs report doesn't say who the headrevs were;
• Detectives can't be antags, but lack loyalty implants;
  • lawyers have loyalty implants, but can they be antags (traitors, for example)?
  • secoffs have no loyalty implants and can be antags, maybe it's the lawyers who shouldn't have implants and be eligible for antag roles instead?
• Botanists have no secHUD icon;
• Runechat suggestions:
  • runechat for emotes would be great to have;
  • runechat text should be coloured with a unique color for every spessman like on /vg/ for better readability;
• Poisoning by plasma inhalation should be considerably buffed - it's so weak that your average noobie trapped in a dark and flooded room can breathe it for 10 minutes straight and barely reach 66% health;

Grunts should always be eligible to make the crew more paranoid and utilize their critical thinking instead of blindly trusting them, it makes the round more interesting.
I had my eyes on an security officer, he claimed that his unknown object in the head was the 'loyalty implant' which made me doubt, considering that loyalty implants wouldn't be 'hidden' on NT-registered medical machinery. (and they are indeed not)

Later it is revealed that he goes around causing chaos and shit, killing the (acting) Captain and so.

lol yeah I was the detective that round. I just found the inconsistency with loyalty implants curious, I agree that antag secoffs are fun when they don't murderbone and should stay. The bug report was more about Detectives not having an implant roundstart, and lawyers being implanted and possibly unable to be antags (leftover from back when they used to be Internal Affairs Agents).

• Cargo department has no section of its own on Crew Manifest (should be named 'Supply'), instead cargonians are lumped together with Service and others under Civilian section;
• Clown position is under Misc instead of Civilian for some reason.

Is /vg/ using similar mechanics to what we use? Also I did a bit of fooling around and the one thing I just can't figure out how to do is to take off my lawyer suit so I can put on a space suit. I am genuinely unsure.

There're a lot of differences still but basically yes, they're the only server left that is.

Either click on the suit equipped on your person with an empty hand or, in case it has pockets (and I suspect this is your case) drag the suit into your active empty hand. To equip a space suit once your inventory suit slot is empty, simply press E or click on an empty suit slot with your active hand that's holding the space suit.

Edit: also how do I vote restart?

"OOC" tab in your right upper corner where all the tabs are -> select "Vote" -> select "Restart" -> vote for restarting the round

I've noticed that when I play by myself I tend to have a lot of connection issues. Is this something that can be explained away by me being the only one online or is my wifi likely just shitting the bed today for some reason?

I think i've played solo on the server more than i have during the active hours and I haven't run into any issues.

Bug report: It doesn't seem possible to do the 30 eggs hydro contract because not all the eggs fit in one hydro crate. Closing the crate with the correct number of eggs will have some amount of eggs, usually 2-5, left outside the container and the scanner will complain there aren't enough eggs.

Repro in case I am retarded: Open a hydro crate. Stack 30 eggs onto the same turf as the crate. Close the crate.
Expected: All the eggs are contained in the crate.
Actual: Some eggs are left outside the closed crate.
