The login problem seemed fixed earlier, but I've been getting random logouts tonight. Probably 6 or so. I asked in chat, and someone else was having the same issue. Don't know if they are related.

Seems so unfortunately. I've restarted the browser session a few times and tried logging in; it happens less frequently than before but it still logs out when trying to access another page. I'll try it later when I get back home form work and see if it's still playing up.

Which domain are you using? Is it only the kiwifarms.net domain acting up?

First off apologies for just sending you a couple of long emails about troubles logging into the sites in general; literally as soon as I sent them I've been able to log in again. Sods law.

It's initially only been the kiwifarms.net domain acting up, I never had troubles logging in to cwckiforums.com. I've stayed logged in since the implementation of SSL though so hopefully the problems been solved. If there's any more problems I'll let you know in the technical grievances thread.

Thanks for doing all this work getting stuff working man, appreciate the time and effort you take to listening to people and getting the site working for everyone.
 
I've just at this moment implemented memcaching which may also help. I'm still fiddling around with it though.
 
Enabled cross-site login policies again which may help with odd logouts. I discovered myself that being on HTTPS and clicking an HTTP link will log you out. That could confuse a lot of people.
 
I briefly touched on this earlier, but on the .ms site, there's still these boxes with hexadecimal codes where icons should be. I'm guessing that they're custom characters my system can't display. I can still use the site without any significant problems, however.

Your browser does not support Font Awesome. You're either using NoScript and are blocking Google CDN URLs, or a browser so unimaginably old it doesn't support modern web standards.

I'm on Firefox 34, so an old browser isn't the problem. Thanks for the tips.

I found out why I was seeing "glyphs" with hexadecimal codes where icons should be - turns out my choice to force all fonts to be one font on my end does that. Allowing sites to select the font fixes the problem.

That would trigger too much autism. The entire point of keeping the old domain is for people who don't want the change and just want their oldschool cwcki board.

If so, may we please view the Pixyteri Thread 2 when we click on Pixy under the lolcow spotlight? I believe that we should have a direct link to all featured cows most current thread.

Not sure if this is the place for blatant compliments but I really like the direction things are going. Moving towards a general lolcow area is something I really like, as someone who doesn't particularly follow Chris, and the aesthetic of the site is really improving. I especially like the Dark Theme. And having the faces of the lolcows in a spotlight on the Lolcow board is especially nice.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have the Kiwi tab update with a (#) next to the the page title when there are new notifications. The "#" would be just how many new notifications we have. I check this site more often than I'd care to admit on a day-to-day basis, so it'd be nice to have a quick reference point when I leave a tab up in my browser.

I'm sure there's an add-on for that. I'll see if there is.

I've also enforced https:// on the kiwifarms.net domain.
