Yes, I like nicotine but I don't want to go back to cigarettes because they make me feel like shit
Personally, I find people who are extremely pro or anti vaping to be pretty cringey
But I guess at least the anti vaping side isn't blowing it in your face

Very very very occasionally. Whenever my cousin brings his pen. I’m looking into a weed vape though as I heard those smell less

If you think you conquered your addiction by switching to a nicotine based vape, you are an absolute witless faggot. Try go without it for over 3 days and tell me you are not addicted. Smoking is not your problem, nicotine is your problem. It'd be like switching shooting up heroin to taking a new heroin pill on the market and saying you're better now because you don't inject it anymore.
(good job on taking steps to stop but don't think your work is even remotely done)

Started on Marlboros. I quit hand-rolled cigs 19 days ago, recently ran out of weed which was helping the process. I have a PAX2 vaporizer for cannabis and will be using it more from here, but it's not as satisfying as a joint.

I don't vape nic since I don't hate myself *that* much, but I do use a vape for weed since it's smoother than smoking a joint.

Smoking is not your problem, nicotine is your problem.

It's the other way around. Nicotine isn't hard to get away from, it's tough to break the habit of smoking. After three days the nicotine withdrawal is over and it's not worse than powering through a cold, the lingering itching in your fingers after that is the habit. Breaking a habit is tough. Ask nail biters or knuckle crackers to stop, a trivial thing to do. They can, for a while, but the thought of cracking their knuckles/biting their nails will consume them even though there's no addictive substances in finger nails or knuckle pops.

Nicotine's harmless. The harmful aspect of smoking is the tar and other gunk in smoke that gets deposited in your lungs. Eliminating that is the important part.

If nicotine is so easy to get away from, why don't you use a nicotine-free vape? And no, the three day thing is a bit of a myth. I've smoked catnip and green tea mixes a few times since tobacco cessation, it doesn't help. Still get cravings now almost 20 days later, and it's not for smoke.
Nicotine's harmless.

I don't vape and here's your problem that I spelled out: you're still smoking. Why are/were you still smoking something? Was/is it the habit?

In the first few days it was somewhat due to habit, later on more due to desperation from nicotine cravings. Smoking something that wasn't tobacco didn't help those cravings though, psychological or otherwise. I'm getting some cannabis oil to help wean myself off smoking joints on a regular basis and will start vaping bud rather. I don't care how "harmless" nicotine proves to be, there is nothing harmless about being addicted to it.

You tried to smoke without nicotine. Why? Is it the act of smoking that is addictive? Is it actually a habit?

Nicotine is piss easy to get off of, if you manage to curb your desire to smoke it won't be a problem.

As I said, it was in hopes of relieving a nicotine craving, which is not just a desire to smoke out of habit. I would tear you open like a pinata if I thought there might be a cigarette inside you. It's not a rational sensation and it physically hurts.

If you have to ask me what part of smoking is addictive, I don't think you have any right to tell me that nicotine is easy to get over.

Yes, I can actually tell you, I have helped multiple people stop smoking. And if your panacea for smoking is smoking then... You need to stop, full stop, no smoking. How? Don't smoke. That's what I said in my earlier post, the habit lingers in your fingers(and hands, and arms, and schedule etc.). Replace it, you need to find something to fill that space and time.

In the interest of helping you help future smoking cessation cases, lighting and holding an incense stick in my hand or mouth is pretty soothing.
