I also don't trust any numbers from Eichenwald, but the majority of those, I'd wager, are people who overstayed tourist and student visas, which is different from your entire presence in the country being illegal start to finish after illegally hopping the border. I'm also pretty sure that even if you're white, if you get put behind bars for violating immigration law, they don't let you bring toddlers into prison, which is where a lot of immigration detainees are held pursuant to contracts with ICE, which does not have enough of its own facilities to house everyone who is in the process of being deported but who are not considered likely to show up for their next hearing unless detained.

As far back as the fucking openly commie publication Counterpunch went after him, amazingly, using actual demonstrated facts and court records and complete documentation, this lying fuck was obviously pathological in his behavior.
