Basic rules of thumb when it comes to trolling : noise you make about it / effort / content ratio.
Tl;dr if you've got a trolling idea you think is going to work just go out and do it but keep exposure to yourself to a minimum so you don't catch flak for the shitty and failed trolling attempts.

It wasn't a very brilliant plan. I was just going to find some of Dobson's exceptionally sexist/racist Alex Ze Pirate strips and Tweet them at Kylie. Since both of them have no filters and Google themselves constantly it would pretty much blow up on its own.
