In a certain way, I feel bad for him. It really sucks to have an entire friend group (seemingly) leave you, especially when you seemed to be very close to them and tied a lot of your self worth, success and identity to them. It really sucks to feel lost and like you don't know where to go or what to do next, or who to trust. The pandemic certainly didn't help. But self-isolating with another person who is clearly toxic isn't the answer and talking about your personal shit on the internet isn't going to help you get better unless you take people's advice.
I'm not a doctor and I don't claim to know the ins and outs of Kyle's life, other than what he posts, but he needs help. Professional help, not help from his partner, not help from his internet friends, real professional help. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. We all need help and sometimes we need someone objective and outside of our life to look at things and tell us what's up. Taking a long hard look in the mirror isn't easy, admitting that you hold some responsibility for your current situation/circumstances sucks. And that isn't just Kyle, that's anyone. We all have to own our shit. Sometimes you need a professional to help you deal with the demons of your past and put them to rest. And if he doesn't have insurance, then there are plenty of free mental-health hotlines that he can call.
I know people think that the Farms are just full of people who troll this site all day, every day, taking great pleasure in watching others suffer. For most of us, I don't think that's true. We observe and document because it's fascinating and these people put their lives out on the internet, so really, it's all fair game. I think it's sad to see Kyle in the state he is now and I genuinely hope he can find the strength within himself to get better (yes, I truly mean that, Kyle or Kyle's friend, if you read this. I'm not some evil troll, I don't want you to hurt yourself or be miserable), but only he can do it. No one else can do it for him.

Having issues or being on the spectrum isn't necessarily your fault, but marry those handicaps with arrogance and exhibitionism and you got yourself a lolcow. There is a part of me that wishes he'll read this and get his life together, but kiwifarms is unfortunately dead on the fact that he/they probably won't. I'll admit that I used to admire him and I wasn't exaggerating when I said his channel could have pulled in millions of subs if he got himself some help. At least as much as Lindsay Ellis and he probably would have deserved it more, given the fact that the main issue Ellis has is being a drunken cunt. My personal opinion was always: "Sometimes too liberal for my taste, but very well put together" I remember 5 years ago Tony Zhou from Every Frame a Painting was complimenting his stuff, so even if he didn't exactly rise to fall, there was at least (wasted) potential.

Talent is one thing. A fucking ego like he had that he was the smartest guy in the room because he read Thoreau and other philosophers is another. He could have done something as he has a good understanding of things like plot, pacing, structure and the like. But the issue is he's a know it all. He's that guy that would intrude on a conversation you're having with a friend over a movie you saw and tell you everything about it from what the director wanted to say with a specific scene to why he chose that particular shade of yellow in another. Then when you and your friend walk away from the weirdo he'd call you uncultured and then proceed to masturbate to his greatness.
This guy is up his own ass with how amazing he is and it's hilarious to see that he's not pulling in the numbers. If he had played his cards right he could have gone on to bigger and better things. But he didn't and now what does he have? A channel that's stagnating, a loveless marriage to a toxic person and the derision of most people on the internet. Honestly there's nothing we could do or say about him that is any worse than what he's done to himself.

Then a few hours later they are no longer following each other on twitter and Jourdain's asking for donations so she can move. Sure Kyle's glad he burned all those bridges for his lovely lady.

I have only two things to say about this cluster fuck
1. It takes an especially fucked up person to gaslight you in DARVOing yourself as the abuser instead of the abused.
2. If an ultra cuck like Dan Olson is telling you that you've been cuck-nuked from space, then there's no hope for you anymore and the only thing to do is eat a shotgun. (Though watching Kyle tell Dan off was so, so satisfying)

In Jourdain's favor, she's absolutely right: Kyle tweeted things he should have said to a therapist or to her. She should have called him on it earlier, put her foot down or something. Maybe she did and he just didn't stop and she thought it might help him...
But you don't air your dirty laundry in public, you don't talk about the intimate details of your relationship online. It's a huge problem in the modern world, people air out their feelings in tweets or on Facebook, get the asspats in comments and then don't do the hard work of fixing their problem, because they've gotten that endorphin rush of validation or whatever.
I honestly hope Kyle tries to get better, but only he can do it. And it's hard work, but sometimes you have to hit absolutely rock bottom before you can figure out which way is up.

I've seen plently of twitter drama in my time, but few this raw and publicly and most bizarre of all, these losers didn't even had to be egged on into a meltdown, this whole shitshow Kyle and his ho did by themselves. But now he wants to act all composed as if he wasn't the one sperging out unprovoked for everybody to see.
This was all so very pathetic that it wasn't even fun by the end, just sad.
