Please tell me somebody else remembers the time when Kyle got a bunch of shit for openly talking shit about the TGWTG Secrets guy. They did this big video "Shit TGWTG fans say" and the Tumblr user- Rants- commented on it with a joke and Kyle was like "I WAS TALKING ABOUT YOU" (he said "I fucking hate Rants.") and it started all this drama, and it was the first big drama with him.
By the way, this Rants guy was a teenager at the time.

He did, like this article, repeatedly use the word "monster" to describe Hefner. I'm guessing he considers him a monster because he 'exploited' women with Playboy, but that doesn't explain the masculinity part. Does he blame Hugh Hefner for his own sexism?

!!! I remember that. That was weird drama. Of all the things Kyle's ever gotten oddly hostile over, the Rants drama takes the cake as the most unreasonable to me. Because, at worst, Rants was an overexcitable blog moderator who sometimes latched onto others' "secrets" as an opportunity to gush about reviewers he liked. He was a harmless, albeit eccentric, fan. And nobody deserves to have one of their favorite internet personalities imply it's annoying or bad that they passionately enjoy their content.

It's gone. It's all gone. I tried to find his comments, but the original video with Kyle's comment was taken down because of the drama. All that's left is Diamanda Hagan calling him out on Twitter. Apparently Kyle apologized to the guy and was forgiven. But I remember seeing Kyle do it when it was new. He got shit from so many other TGWTG members and fans. That's when he finally apologized. After Hagan went after him.

Nice, I'm glad somebody else saw it. An ex-friend of mine ran the official Oancitizen fan page and they told me about the whole thing so I saw it go down. From what I remember, the drama started because that Secrets page said something about Ven, which pissed her off, then Kyle got involved after.

Phelous, Lupa, Brad and Sadpanda seem to be well adjusted. Phelous tends to keep quiet about politics save for the the occasional quip making fun of reactionary SJWs and Anti-SJWs. Plus, his departure from the site and accounts of dealing with Doug while editing Suburban Knights were the first time most Channel Awesome fans realised that Doug wasn't such a nice guy after all.
