It sounds to me like he's delegitimizing their work on the basis that they're part of marginalized groups of people when in fact more normal people could probably name those two than they would Tommy Wiseau (at least prior to The Disaster Artist becoming a thing).

Which is pretty racist and sexist when you think about it.
