Lack of motivation

What do you want your life to look like and feel like? In a few days, weeks, months, etc. I try to think about my immediate surroundings first of all and that makes choosing big picture goals a lot easier. How do you want to spend your time? Is your degree/course going to help you get a job with the type of work you want to do? I'm thinking working in an office, working outdoors, spending time on the road, etc. Are you in a position to take a leave of absence to think about what you really want?

Example: My living room was just uncomfortable and crowded, not a place I wanted to spend time. I wanted it to be a comfortable space to relax, so I made a plan of what needed to be removed, moved, or replaced to achieve that. It felt like an achievable goal which gave me more motivation to take on bigger life aspirations.
