So, the revival of Law and Order is back. Jack McCoy is back. Michael Weston has given up his spy days to become a cop. This is the threat to talk about the new series of Law and Order. I hope its as good as the original run.

I watched the opening episode of the new season.
- a lot of the dialogue feels clunky and cringey, sound less like natural dialogue and more like the writers addressing political crap.
- the two lead detectives suck; Michael Westen's character is at least interesting but he tends to over act. Which was fine on Burn Notice and Fargo but here it really sticks out. Anthony Anderson never works in anything outside of comedies.
- Jack McCoy looks like a skeleton wearing a skin suit that's two sizes too big and it often seems like the next sound you'll hear out of him is a death rattle.
- Hugh Darcy isn't aging well and his voice sounds weird, noticeably higher pitched than his Hannibal days. His character is also a lot less interesting than the one he's replacing (Cutter).

Overall I'd say its roughly similar in quality to the last few seasons of the show; far from it's best but still decent and watchable.

Before I gave up Cable TV, I watched this show RELIGIOUSLY. I have the DVDs of SVU up to like year 10 I think (it's been a while since I last checked) and the original up to like year 3 (it was a gift from one of my exs). I also watched Criminal Intent.

Regarding SVU, the newer shows I can't watch half the time. Something about the younger guys feels "off", like they act like whiny brats and can't do shit without the veterans helping them out.

Yeah the new ADA sucks. It was good he got put in his place at the end of the episode, but yeah it was decidedly an average episode.

She is satisfying to fap to.

Give me Angie Harmon any day

Alana's first role (pre-boobas apparently):

Just wanted to share this because Mortal Kombat Conquest is one of the greatest shows ever made.

It's gotten worse the older she got. Last show I saw that she was a main character in was "Rizzoli & Isles" and that was back
in 2010.
I remember her on Baywatch Nights when she was just a model trying to be an actress.

Episode 2 is theranos but with murder. Interesting premise. Donovan is still a little stiff. I miss bit players like Rodgers and Van Buren. The Law side is much better at the moment than the order side. It was good to see the LT have balls to call out the ADA, and say we are arresting this person, you do the fuck you want. The main ADA is too prissy, he needs a kick-up the backside and to grow some fucking balls.

The other ada is not hot enough to be a supporting ADA, compared to the previous supporting ADAs, but still the best on the law side (which doesn't say much) apart from McCoy. Also, Serena got booted for believing too much in the "victim". Same thing needs to happen to her, its appropriate to ask, has 'me too' changed how we need to deal with people who lie about abuse, but its not appropriate to suggest because she asserted it, its true.

Its interesting how wokeness is being weaved into the story in both a semi-positive (last week with everyone pulling out phones) and this week the person hiding behind being hated for defying gender sterotypes (even though its like 30 years out of date - that's the "perception" of the modern world).
