the main part of knights kingdom were the minifig scale sets but the buildable figures had loads of character IMO. Rascus and Vladek are designs that have kinda stuck with me. I didn't have too many of the second batch of the buildable figures that had more specialized technic parts but I saw a review of them a few years ago that showcased each one of them had a unique geared motion gimmick compared to the first wave where it was just an up and down gear motion. When LEGO moved on to Knights Kingdom action figures I thought it was a step down. They looked worse, could lose pieces like a normal LEGO set, and had none of Galidor's character.
That kind of reminded me, one of the few large scale castle sets I've ever owned (and technically still "own" since it's never been disassembled and is just on a shelf in a basement somewhere for over a decade or so) is the Knights kingdom Vladek fortress. I also had the add-on set to it but I have no clue what happened to it. The 2000s lego trend of black and red bad guy lairs was the kinda shit younger me was all over. The other big set I had was a different castle set from either a little before or after the Vladek castle.
