Finally, the first Mario sets I'm interested in! https://brickset.com/article/112838/2025-super-mario-and-animal-crossing-sets-revealed!
The Yoshi bike, standard kart, garage, and Grand Prix sets look so cool. I'm okay with the lack of minifigures since they remind me of the Cars 2 sets. I wish the Grand Prix was more substantial -- let's face it, you're paying for the cool logo stickers there -- but the garage has plenty of substance, and the Yoshi bike and standard kart are cool vehicles (the Donkey Kong and baby sets are ugly); I especially like the Cars-esque target in the standard kart.

I like the design of the karts themselves, but would have preferred them be in minifig scale and not whatever that is. A lot of those brick built faces look pretty cursed to me.

The Yoshi eyes are cute and the mushroom crewmen are cool. I will agree, the Mario/Luigi figures are weird -- but so are their vehicles.

wow I didn't realize Animal Crossing looked _that_ Fabuland
It doesn't have enough primary colours and old-fashioned vehicles to be considered full Fabuland, but many of the sets come close (they even have a birthday party set). The airport set is especially cool; it even has a piece with an 80s print. I believe Lego is using this theme for mundane city buildings now that City is more vehicle-focused again, but hopefully we'll get more City-typical sets like a police station or a garage because animal characters improve everything.

I bought the new 1/8 scale McLaren P1.

Just got around to unboxing it this morning. Unsurprisingly, it's a big complex set. The 7 speed transmission looks very interesting. The real car was a hybrid, and the model has a mockup electric motor that you can engage along with the traditional V-8. Looks like a Technic Power Functions electric motor will fit where the mockup is, so I'm planning on motorizing it so I can demo that cool transmission. I'll also be adding working headlights, and the battery box should fit in the forward trunk/boot.

Surprised to find that it came with this free classic space themed "Gift with Purchase".
Neat little set, but not my thing, so I'll be making a gift of this one-

New leaks from /toy/, take with a grain of salt as usual:

So there's gonna be lots of embarrassing license crap, but the Tron stuff sounds cool, and I'm happy they have big plans for getting Monkie Kid and Ninjago big again (those are my two favourite themes at the moment). The Ninjago F1 stuff sounds really cool, especially since there's been a big lack of Ninjago cars lately. Maybe if the One Piece stuff does well, they'll hopefully do some Gundam stuff!

If they make One Piece sets it's absolutely over for me. I will most certainly get a Going Merry.
I can't find the fucking ad anymore but some lego knockoff company got the license a few years ago and all i can find are like actual knockoffs being reviewed and not the actual ads I saw for the not lego lego sets.
I did however find some non-english video of what i think are just some "better quality" knockoffs and not the specific brand I remember there being ads for years ago.
I have no cluewhat this man is saying but those are some neat ass builds.

I thought Bamrise IPs were in the NEVER category because of Mega Blocks?

I forgot to post earlier, but it was just2good's trooniversary last month. He's lost 32,000 subscribers.
God, his attitude makes me so sad and angry at the same time. Who are you to flush an amazing dream job where you get paid to talk about Lego all day down the toilet? It's weird how he's doing almost the exact same things Digibro did when he trooned out.

Can someone explain to me exactly how those Bricklink sets work? Does it have a limited run and is only available on the website?
They're sets designed by BL designers, but include no new elements, prints, or colors. What you see in a BL designer set are any parts that can be purchased from Lego directly. Basically, you're buying instructions and could theoretically source the parts from your own collection.

I loved playing with LEGO a ton as a kid, and have a lot of fond memories browsing the LEGO aisle at Toys R Us and Target with my mom, begging like the little autist I was for another overpriced set of plastic bricks. The 90's sets like Rock Raiders and whatever the Mars ones were always found themselves on my Christmas wishlist, and honestly probably birthed a lot of my interest in space and sci fi. Ended up losing interest around my early teens, but I think the architectural sets and a lot of the micro figurine concepts people come up with would make fantastic shelf decorations.

Sometimes I find myself going on a binge watching tons of videos about sets and the company's history and it was honestly incredible learning how close they were to bankruptcy, right around the same time they were this toy titan to myself and everyone I knew.
