Lena Dunham - Fat, Child Molesting Attention Whore and Her Trainwreck of a Family

This fat, ugly, patently-insane pedo must either be the best-connected person in show biz, or have some really damaging dirt on key individuals in that industry. Nothing else could explain how, after this string of failures and humiliations, she could land a Spielberg project -- much less something involving an issue utterly divorced from her woefully narrow experiences or knowledge.

What she has is precisely what you just mentioned: she's fat and ugly in an environment where fat and ugly people are hated, but they cannot say so.

If she was some starlet, she'd be put on a diet and given proper surgeries, but her whole deal is about being ugly and fat, and how society is mean for demanding women to be like this so Hollywood has no other option but accept her otherwise, they'd be accused of discrimination. She's like a minority quota if being ugly was a minority status.

Seriously, though, Adam Driver deserves a medal just for standing near her naked ass even if he was never deployed in Afghanistan. The fact he's one of the rare things everyone will like about NuStarWars is goddamn karma (and unlike Lena, even if you don't find him attractive, he seems like a decent guy).
Adam Driver is basically the anti-Lena Dunham at this point. He's a nice, humble guy that wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth that achieved success due to genuine talent, actually does things to help people (he and his wife run a charity to help bring entertainment to members of the armed forces), doesn't overshare every gross detail of his life, has been happily married for years and now has a kid (that he keeps away from the public eye), and most importantly isn't an unkempt child molester. Not to mention he's only gotten more success after Girls ended, while as Lena has been spiraling into irrelevance and burning every bridge she had.

The Virgin Lena Dunham vs. the Chad Adam Driver.

Carrie Fisher didn't try to hold on to youth artificially. She dressed with grace and dignity and accepted it, and in that sense she aged very well.
I think she aged pretty well, especially considering all the drugs she did. Like to me she looked like a pretty typical woman of her age group. Yeah, she had wrinkles and grey hair and had put on some weight, but thats how most 50, 60 something women look, particularily ones that have had kids.

Lena, meanwhile, is aging horrendously. Other than all the drugs and shit care she takes of herself I wonder if she's got what a lot of people speculate Becky Gerber has going on where being a rotten, miserable cunt is aging her like spoiled milk.

That, and her brand of feminism wasn't acting like a victim 24/7, it was "stop giving a shit about what people will think and just be yourself fuck-o". That I can get behind.

Saying that she didn't age very well is kind of harsh, I admit it - it's obvious she went through a bit of surgery, but honestly, she was a national treasure for all her flaws, so no one really cared. At the end of her life, she got very close to her mom despite a hard past, and she and her daughter really seemed like they genuinely loved each other.

And she took good care of her dog, unlike Lena. Never trust someone who has a shady story about a dog.

Amy Schumer looks like an alien. Her features are too small for her face: it's like her face was blank in the first place and a mouth, a nose and eyes were photoshopped.

Something like this then?

Lena Dunham admitted to lying to discredit an actress who accused Girls writer, Murray Miller of raping her. If you don't wanna read the article:

Lena told reporters that she had insider knowledge on the incident, and that Aurora Perrineau (victim) misreported. Aurora told police that she woke up to Miller having sexual intercourse with her, and that she never consented. This also happened when she was 17 and Miller was 35.

She apologised by writing an essay but her confession was: "I didn’t have the ‘insider information’ I claimed but rather blind faith in a story that kept slipping and changing and revealed itself to mean nothing at all."

Dunham recently admitted that she purposefully lied to discredit a woman who claimed that she was raped by one of the male writers on Girls, Murray Miller:

Lena Dunham Apologizes, Admits She Lied To Discredit Alleged Rape Victim
December 5, 2018 By Jenny Singer

Lena Dunham has apologized to the actress Aurora Perrineau, whose account of being raped by the writer Murray Miller Dunham disputed in a public statement in November 2017. At the time, Dunham wrote that “insider knowledge” of the situation made her certain that Perrineau “misreported” the assault.

In the apology letter, published in the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, Dunham writes at length about her own sexual trauma and admits that her claim of “insider knowledge” that would exonerate Miller was made up.

What happened?

In November 2017, the Wrap broke the story that Perrineau filed a police report stating that Murray Miller, a writer and producer on Dunham’s HBO show “Girls,” had raped her in 2012, when she was 17 years old, and Miller was 35. In her statement, given while taking a polygraph, Perrineau said, “At some point, I woke up in Murray’s bed naked. He was on top of me having sexual intercourse with me. At no time did I consent to any sexual contact with Murray.”

Miller and his lawyers denied Perrineau’s accusation, claiming that Perrineau went to police only after she “sought substantial monetary damages” from Murray and was refused. A month later, Miller’s lawyers, claiming a “misunderstanding,” apologized and admitted that “neither Ms. Perrineau nor her attorney have ever made a demand for money.”

On the same day that the Wrap reported Perrineau’s accusations, Dunham and her co-show runner on “Girls,” Jenni Konner put out a statement in the Hollywood Reporter defending Murray and attempting to discredit Perrineau. “While our first instinct is to listen to every woman’s story, our insider knowledge of Murray’s situation makes us confident that sadly this accusation is one of the 3 percent of assault cases that are misreported every year,” they wrote, concluding, “We stand by Murray and this is all we’ll be saying about this issue.”

Dunham retracted the statement shortly after it was released, having fielded mass criticism calling out Dunham’s feminism as selective and accusing her of only defending white women (Perrineau is black). “I naively believed it was important to share my perspective on my friend’s situation as it has transpired behind the scenes over the last few months. I now understand that it was absolutely the wrong time to come forward with such a statement and I am so sorry,” Dunham wrote in a note, this time on her social media.

Dunham’s apology

Over a year after Dunham retracted her defense of Murray, she has written a longer-form essay apologizing to Perrineau directly, published in the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday. “There are few acts I could ever regret more in this life,” she wrote. In a sentence tucked deep in a lengthy essay about the cultural climate, her role in Perrineau’s story, and her experiences with sexism and sexual assault, Dunham revealed this: “I didn’t have the ‘insider information’ I claimed but rather blind faith in a story that kept slipping and changing and revealed itself to mean nothing at all,” she wrote.

This is salient — Dunham did not just favor one person’s story over another, she also alluded to the public that she and Konner held secret information that would discredit Perrineau’s story. But Dunham says now that she had no such knowledge or evidence.

In the rest of the apology, Dunham writes extensively about her experiences with sexual trauma and being a woman in a climate of sexism and abuse. The construction of her apology is reminiscent of Kevin Spacey’s in October 2017, when he apologized to Anthony Rapp for assaulting him as a child and in the same statement came out as gay.

“I know I’m not alone when I say that this year has also been hell,” Dunham writes in her opening paragraph. It sure has. But an apology letter - for discrediting a real rape victim - is a wild place to try to mine for sympathy.

Literally defending a rapist and then making herself out to be a victim by bringing up her own "sexual trauma," she's quite the piece of work.

EDIT: @felix el gato beat me to it whilst I was typing, but I'll leave the post up because it contains a copy of the article.

From the article:

"In the rest of the apology, Dunham writes extensively about her experiences with sexual trauma and being a woman in a climate of sexism and abuse."

Even when acknowledging that she lied to cover up the rape of minor, Dunham can only wrap this in the context of how she herself is a victim of... *waves blithely at the cultural climate.*

Despicable.

Is she trying to obliterate what's left of her career/relevance?

And of course she comes out with this apology and admission several months after this: The Los Angeles D.A. Office’s sex assault task force today filed paperwork that noted the statute of limitations on the case had expired, and also that “based on the evidence presented, which included Victim, Suspect and witness statements, there are inconsistencies which cannot be overcome. For those reasons, “the People would not be able to prove this crime beyond a reasonable doubt, and prosecution is declined.”

How did this pig become even remotely famous in the first place?

I mean Jesus H Tap Dancing Christ! How did this happen?!‽?
Her first "art film" was called The Fountain and it's just a video of her walking out into a public square in her underwear and brushing her teeth in the fountain. It was considered a bold statement in body positive circles. She's just a fat attention whore that got lucky and has rich parents.

She got fame after making an indie flick called tiny furniture. Judd Appatow helped her jumpstart her career. He liked her from the beginning because she is Jewish just like him. It is some sort of Jewish in-group preference Hollywood thing. That's why a lot of the times untalented and ugly people seem to blow up out of nowhere in the entertainment industry. They more often than not are Jewish and benefit from nepotism (ie Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, Carrie Fisher). I too am always stunned with their success despite being openly mocked and hated by the general public... Happy Hannakuh!

The fact that Lena and the rest of the female cast of Girls are all daughters of somebody famous is pretty rich, considering the male cast all come from nowhere and ended up being more successful than them: Adam Driver got in Star Wars, Ben Mendelsohn plays the bad guy in 50% of the movies coming out right now, Andrew Rannells has a very solid Broadway career and manages to find work every season or so, and Donald Glover... well that goes without saying.

I bet Lena and her ilk would try to blame it on male privilege instead of the fact that the guys are genuinely talented, likable, and hard working.

I think I've mentioned it before but for as much as Girls tried to market itself on muh feminism, even the tumblrinas I've seen who watch it are watching it primarily to see Adam Driver run around with no clothes on or one of the other male characters. While I haven't watched it myself, the impression I get is that the male characters are more genuinely likable, well developed, and interesting than the female ones.
