Mr Smith,
You say you worked on the BM&R in the the late 80’s, so did I. I don’t recall seeing you or hearing your name about. Maybe you worked there when I was off or something. Maybe we can talk some old stories of who we worked with?
You also speak of working on Conrail in the Reading area, so did I. Maybe we can talk about some old stories, remember 'Captain Green Teeth" or "Nickel Nose"? On Conrail you had an employee number, what were the first three digits? I don’t need the whole number. Or maybe I will look for my old roster that will have your name and employee number on it, maybe we worked together?
I’m just trying to clear this up for you and this possible silly little mistake. If you say you are not This Mr. Len Shaner then so be it.
But you have struck a nerve Mr. Smith. You mention of Len Shaners father passing away. If this is true then may he rest in peace and god bless him. Len Shaner was known for posting obituaries about people he said he had known. That does not sit well with some people including myself.
I recently lost a loved one and I would not want thier name posted on a website.
Are you Len Shaner or not? I believe you are.
To the Moderators, Adimistrator and fellow posters, I'm only trying to help. This Len Shaner saga is what makes this board and others look foolish and childish. I was acused of being Len Shaner when I first came on RR.Net. a few years back. A simple email to the moderator solved that issue.
