google search brings up a real estate agent, comic book writer and a blues artist. Probably not related to any of thoseI wonder where this Jeff Jensen comes from. Anyone got any idea on that?
I had no idea railroads attracted such dysfunctional people.
So guys like Len then end up joining volunteer historical railroads, and get kicked out of that. If you notice in the videos, he never does anything more than spray primer on various parts.
the best thing I learned from the railroad people in here is this: guys like Len desperately want to be a railroad conductor or engineer, but they don't even have the aptitude to earn a laborer job on the railroad, of which there are plenty. I have no problem with railfanning, the guys that do it are respectful of the railroad workers and it's an interest in trains & photography that makes their hobby worthwhile. He has the reverse Midas touchHis mechanical ineptitude knows no bounds. During the Steamtown project he actually videotaped himself taking a 4" angle grinder to what were once precision machined surfaces.

I'll take anything you have.
Daps to you, fellow mechanic. Lets dissect his failures.I'll take anything you have.
Someone is actually defending Shaner?@Pocket_Sand! Yep it's as suspected. This Kaufman guy seems to primarily be taking over since Leonard Shaner can't handle criticism and facts that don't agree with his delusions. From what I can tell Kaufman tries to be some sort of tough guy. Shaner's muscle or something. In reality he seems to be a severely out of shape truck driver who's gotten to 2nd base with Little Debbie a few too many times.
At any rate, Shaner's general silence is an admission of guilt. Proof that he's been exposed and can't contend any of the facts. That's fine.
I've got more stuff my new friends at the Colebrookdale have been leaking to me. I should have solid proof that Shaner actually didn't have anything to do with getting the little yellow train he's so proud of. You know, the one he put on the front page so it's easy for us Kiwi's to find?
Thanks, that was very informative for all of the -7 Billion people that caredThis is a quote from Mr. Shaner in a book he's been working on about the Schuylkill Canal.
Frick's Locks:
The land contained in Frick's Locks is part of three adjacent tracts of land purchased in 1734 by Swiss immigrant and Anabaptist Johann"hans" Grumbacher, (119 acres), and in 1764 by Peter Grumbacher, son,(69 acres). Each of these three tracts fronted on the Schuylkill River. In April of 1764, Peter bought the 117 acre tract from his mother and siblings, and in September, 1764, he bought the 69 acre tract which bordered the northern edge of the 119 acre tract . In 1770, Peter purchased from his mother the middle 119 acres to put the entir Grumbacher farm in his possession.
Someone posted earlier in the thread that Kaufman and Shaner really aren't friends. They have some sort of deal where they inflate each other's egos to their liking and when they're not around each other, they will easily bash the other person when it's convenient. To some sort of degree, they must like each other though because how else can you be around two insufferable, (nearly) senior citizen aged idiots who depend on handouts and asspats?Someone is actually defending Shaner?
WHY?
What Wikipedia page did you steal that info from? This is a quote from Mr. Shaner in a book he's been working on about the Schuylkill Canal.
